Happy Birthday, Dawnie!

Happy Birthday to my sister who is the hardest working girl I know, who can rock a baby to sleep in a heartbeat, who is extremely organized, who's floor you could literally eat off of!, and who is very thoughtful!

I have many funny memories of Dawn, but here is one that popped in my mind this morning. When we were growing up, Dawn, Dolly and I had to clean the kitchen each night after dinner. We didn't like this job and either we'd make the most of it and sing together or we'd fight (talking mean and shoving). Dolly washed the dishes, I dried and Dawn put away. Well, one night we were fighting. Dawn took the tongs that I had just handed her to put away and pinched my bottom! OUCH! I cried and cried and had a big bruise on one cheek for a long time. And yes, I tattled!

Dawn, I hope your birthday is wonderful! You are a great sister and friend (and Auntie) and I love you dearly!

Yes, we did talk about this incident the other night as we celebrated both Daddy's and Dawn's birthdays together. Dawn got a lot of neat kitchen items from Dolly and Leland. One item was a really cool "tongs" that looked like a very large tweezer. Naturally that little incident came up, and we all had a good laugh....Sorry, Donna.

Happy Birthday, Dawn. I love you, and I agree with EVERYTHING Donna said. Have a good day.

Happy birthday to my favorite Nanny in the whole world! Dawn is a good girl and I agree with the words above. AND I must add that even with her crazy day's at the office she still keeps our children for us every Monday night we Danny and I can get a bit of time away.

Dawn, aka, Governor (that's my new name for her) is truly the bomb diggity! I love you sweetie!

Denise, I am touched to read your comments that Auntie Dawn spends time with your precious ones so you and Danny can go out on dates. That is one awesome sister and Auntie!

Dawn, I think you should buy yourself some shiny thongs and bring them out at Christmas :)

Happy Birthday to Dawn.

Happy Birthday Dawn, aka Top Dawg!!!! I hope you have a very special birthday. Any sister who is s swinging single, working a fast-faced job who will then go keep 5 kids for your sister and BIL so they can go on a date is a great girl in my book. (Ever considered living in Texas?)

Sweet post, Donna. You always do great posts about your family members.
