A Night at the Library

This past week, the Billy Graham Library began it's annual Christmas celebration. The kids and I met Roy there tonight and we had a great time.

This year we hit the carriage ride line first so we wouldn't have to wait an hour like we did last year. It was cold tonight, but the kids didn't care.

The Library looked so beautiful! This picture does not capture how pretty and lit up everything really was:

The Nativity was the kids' favorite. They wanted to stay outside for the longest time watching the Holy Family and the animals. I got this same picture of them last year and I told Roy tonight, I want to do it each year from now on:

After dinner, we went to listen to story time. Caroline sat there so nicely listening to the lady read:
RoyBoy, not so much:

If you live locally, you need to go to the library. If you don't want to go when it's crowded, I'd suggest going on a weeknight. They have carriage rides, carolers, exhibits, story time, hot chocolate, roasted chestnuts, and good food for dinner. The light are so pretty, the visit is worth it just to see them! It's opened every night until Christmas, 5-9:00.

Yippppeeee! I think we're hittin it tomorrow night after the Teddy Bear Tea. Ya'll wanna stay and do it again? You got some great pictures. That carriage ride one could make a great Christmas Card. Also, Buddy's face during the storytime was TOTALLY his M&M permagrin. LOVE that boy! BTW, JR is going to be Mary next Sat. Serge and Mama Jeanne were Joseph and Mary on Monday or Tuesday and I didn't know it. I was SICK...talk about a GOOOOD picture! Lol.

Man, if I lived in Charlotte, I would be there! I've been trying to recruit people from Lynchburg to go there to see it. I have yet to see it at Christmas time but I'm sure it's top notch like everything else. Good memories for your kids.

Ok, I was just saw an advertisement for that somewhere and was just on their website checking it out. I really want to do that but I'm thinking we'll have to wait until next year. Maybe do a little shopping in Charlotte and then hit that up afterwards...Donna, can you host our family for dinner?

Anyway, enough about me. Roy Boy looks so cute in his little red winter attire. And who is Caroline's friend she has with her? She needs a hat on that bald head of hers. Good idea on the getting the same picture each year!! A fun family night for sure!

Donna, Donna, Donna.....don't you remember what your new last name is? Why, oh why are you waiting in line for over an hour? Can't you throw some weight around and get VIP treatment. In fact, you all should have your own horse and buggy that is just for the Graham family complete with a heater, wet bar, food, etc.
