This afternoon I was getting ready to serve lunch. Fox News was on in the living room, so I asked Caroline to go turn the TV off. She came back into the kitchen and said:
Caroline: Mommy, who's Nobama?
Me: He's our president.
Caroline: What's a president?
Me: He's the leader of our country...the leader of the United States of America. Kind of like our teacher and we have to obey what he says.
Caroline: And Mommy, he has no money.
I laughed so hard! They had been talking about the financial crisis in the country, and I guess she overheard something about Obama and money:)

She figured out Obama doesn't have money and Obama hasn't even realized it yet. Amazing that a four year old is smarter than the President! Caroline you are a smart girl!

I'm laughing at this too! So cute! I just read this to Leland and he mumbled, "we don't have to obey everything Obama says either." hahahaha!
