All Aboard!

This post is long overdue. I couldn't get the card to read on this computer, but finally I was able to. Anyway, last Sunday, Caroline, Roy and I still had our colds, so we skipped church and went on up the mountain to Tweetsie Railroad. We'd been promising Caroline we'd take her there all summer and with the season getting ready to end, we decided to just do it! The kids LOVED it. The weather was perfect and we had a wonderful day together. Caroline's new favorite musical is "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers", which takes place in the frontier times, so she thoroughly enjoyed herself and walked around the whole day singing "Wonderful, Wonderful Day!" (for those of you who know the movie). Here are some of the pictures. We used Roy's new camera and although it takes nice pictures, it's a PAIN to upload them. Some of them I didn't even bother uploading:

Whoa. Talk about memories and major de ja vu! Did they not get scared at the cowboys/indians at the fort?!?!

OK, all those pics are great but my all time FAVS are your kiddies behind bars. Once again, Carol is making a face JUST LIKE her mommy!!! HA-larious. The other thing...she looks like the law's put some fear into her but not that Buddy. He looks like he ain't scared a lick of the law...he thinks it's funny!!! Ruh row. :)

Love this post! I'm so glad you finally got to go.....Caroline's been looking forward to it for a long time now. The pictures are great. I agree with Hannah...the one's of the kids in jail are my favorites. Looks kinda like Roy will be teaching those kiddies how to shoot before too long. Watch out!!!

Keep making those wonderful memories with your children!!!

Cute pictures.....I see Roy Boy finally was put in jail! Cute thing! I am glad you had a good time. I also see he had his hands in the water while in the boats---LOL! They fussed at Quinn when they thought he might do that! Funny boy! How do they think children can stand not to touch the water? I wish I had been there to go with you.....Miss you and love you...
