Pray for Payson

***Update: Windsor and Todd are going to use their blog to update everyone on Payson's status. They are also going to use their blog as a journal, so bookmark it is you'd like to stay updated on this little boy! I have her blog listed on the left of this page***

Some of you may be readers of Roy's cousin, Windsor's, blog The Bauder Family Chronicles. Windsor went into labor one month early and delivered a little boy on Tuesday morning. This is from her facebook status yesterday:

"Our little boy was born at 9:06 am at 6lbs. 2 oz. 18 inches. We decided his name should be Payson John Bauders. He was quickly diagnosed with esophageal atresia (his estophgus isn't connected to a stomach), heart issues and will need a brain scan. He will be transferred to the local pediatric hospital where he will endure surgery in the next few days! I BEG OF YOU ALL TO PLEASE PRAY FOR HIM AND STRENGTH FOR US!!!"

And this is from today:

"I can't thank everyone enough for the prayers for our son Payson John. At 5 pm I finally got to hold my precious bundle for the first time and he currently is lying comfortably in daddy's arms. He is just too precious for words, but has a l...ong, long road to go. We don't have any new information to pass along, but please pray and we will let you know when we know! Thank you for all your love, support and prayers!"

If you don't mind, please say a little prayer for Payson and for his parents, Todd and Windsor. I just can't imagine what they are all going through right now. It looks like they have many tough days ahead of them and I know they covet prayers during this time.

How very sad. Our God is the God of miracles and the God of healing, though. He's the Great Physician. I'll be in prayer for the family, and for that sweet little baby. Thanks for the post, and I know you'll keep us informed.
