Halloween Blog Challenge

First off, we are home from our anniversary get-a-way! We had a great time and I would post about it but my camera card won' t read on this computer, so I'll have to wait until Roy comes home tonight and use his work computer! Sorry. Stay tuned!

Second, I was driving home from the grocery store today and saw that many of our neighbors have decorated their homes for Halloween. Huge spiders climbing bricks, spiderwebs all over trees, styrofoam tombstones all in the flower beds...you know, classy stuff. So, if you have a house in your neighborhood that is just really over the top with the Halloween decorating, email me a picture for this blog. We'll have a little contest to see who's neighbors are the tackiest. Jessica, that house down the street from you may win:)

Hey Donna,
Since you liked the cute banners on emmiecakes I thought you might like to see this blog

Look at her birthday parties! Especially the carnival themed one she did for her son's 1st birthday! She is soooo creative, and her sister in law is a wedding planner (on her blog roll as Shannon). C.U.T.E. ideas! (but don't feel the pressure like I did!)

Welcome back!!! Okay, I'm racking my brain to figure out where you guys were. I know from Denise's blog that you had layovers in Denver and Dallas so I'm thinking you were out west...maybe northwest. So, was it Seattle???

Good idea, good idea on the Halloween thing. I actually have a place in mind but I'm just trying to think where I could park my car to get out and take a picture of this house...it's on a main road. BUT, I will not let the possibility of getting struck by a car get in the way of a good blog challenge.

I'll have to seriously think about this challenge. Glad to hear Jennifer is willing to risk her life for the challenge!!!

Yes, Donna, don't leave all of us non-Rebers out of the loop. Where, OH, Where did you go?

Thanks for that sweet phone call in Dallas. I appreciated it so much.

Great idea Donna! Our neighborhood is pretty tame believe it or not. I'll have to find one that's picture worthy.

Welcome back! It's good to see an updated post on Graham Central Station.

Ha ha ha- just tonight as we were driving up our street we laughed at our neighbors home...its totally decked out for Halloween with orange lights on the hedges and all (good timing Donna!)!! They do it every year and I'm going to wait another day or so for pics...each day they add something (no joke!). On trick or treat night we have a potluck in their driveway and line up our baskets of sweets for the kiddos.

Yes, I am pretty sure that I have the mother of all halloween houses. It does have some good competition accross the street though. I will definitely send you a picture of both houses. Just wait...

You'll have to wait until tonight! I forgot to get ROy's computer out of his car this morning before he went to work. I was going to post this afternoon when the kids went down for a nap. SO SORRY!

Donna, are you forgetting where I live? I'm sure I can find a good house down here to take a picture of.

I'm giggling.....I might just have this one! I'll have to do a little "ride around" after I take Layne to school today and snap a good pic, there are just so many to choose from here in Northern Va!

I have not seen any houses that would fit the bill..yet! I will keep a look out for you Donna.

Welcome home. I pray you had a great time of rest and time together as hubby and wife.

By the way, I love Aaron's teachers at WEE School. We are working with Aaron on a few issues. He is having issues letting people share with him and in his space and a few other things!

Yeah, Donna, I can't believe you haven't posted it! It'll be a good one...that's all I've gotta say. I've got a good ole Johnny Cash tune ringing in my head right now. :)
