Our Day in Boone

Our family spent Saturday in Boone, NC--Roy's hometown. Roy had to do some work up there that morning, and Caroline actually spent Friday night there with her grandparents. She woke them up at 4 am on Saturday by serenading them from her bedroom:) This has been known to happen from time to time. The girl LOVES to sing.

Our sister-in-law, Kendra, also was in Boone with her three children, so it was fun to see them, and Caroline enjoyed playing with her "big girl" cousins. Thank you, to my mother-in-law, for taking Caroline for the night on Friday! We were able to get a semi-date in with our little guy tagging along and I was also able to sleep in until 8:45 on Saturday!!!

Oh, and happy 30th birthday to my sweet brother-in-law, Leland! Wish we were there for the big birthday bash today:( Here are some pictures from our weekend:

Our nephew, Quinn. He is so mischievious! I can't help but laugh when I see him!!

Aunt Cissie (the newlywed) and Roy Austin

Any man who marries into the Graham family better be able to operate a gun. Good thing Corey Lynch can. Look at that technique! By the look on Roy's face, he agrees! (actually, they are laughing at me for making them pose for this picture. Good sports!).

Any time we go to Boone, there is never a question where we will be eating dinner. Woodland's BBQ is the answer!

Mr. and Mrs. Lynch, who now have a blog, and need to get a room. Remember, Cissie, a good blogger ALWAYS has her camera.

Our neices, Rachel and C.J. This picture cracks me up!

Look at this sweet boy and his Nana. He kept drifting in and out of sleep. It was hard to sleep because he was sitting right next to a speaker with music blaring out of it from the guitar player (see background of kissing session picture).

Looks like a fun weekend! What a sweet in-law family you have. And that Roy Austin - can I clone him him? I could eat him up!

I went to your sister-in-law's blog, but I don't know that I can lurk there very often. I'll be depressed every time I open her blog and have to see her PERFECT body! :) Maybe she can do some blog posts about how we can lose our muffins and look like that!

Glad you guys had a good time! By the way, did your husband go to App State? My husband went to Furman and, of course, they're big football rivals. Just wondering.

No Jennifer, her husband went to Liberty University where anybody who is ANYBODY goes to school. (No offense)

Donna, it sounds like you had a wonderful weekend. What wonderful in-laws you have....in fact...I don't know why, but they look REALLY familiar. Maybe I know someone who looks like them. LOL!

Should we comment on CiCi's page or will we all FREAK HER OUT!!

OK, I feel stupid. I meant to say Cissy. I just had CiCi's pizza. You all know my love affair w/ food!

RA is getting so big and he's such a cutey! I'm just getting initiated into this whole gun thing, my Dad was never into that stuff, but Alex and his friends are, so I'm learning. I'm glad you got to sleep in, that must feel like heaven!

donna, i love your kids! I can't wait to see you all again and get some clapping going, if you know what i mean.
i've just skimmed over some previous comments and i must say it's become quite easy to become a "reber girl" these days. I mean, back when I went through the process there were quite a few chores involved (ahem, denise) and a lot of time spent annoying the whole family (kimmie gibler) a lot of homemade videos (qwite an expewience). ah, how times have changed...now it's about blog comments.

Teecy...you'll always be the #1 Reber adoptee!! We have so many good memories with you and Dooly and all your antics. I'm so glad you'll be coming back to the burg to live. Enjoy your last several weeks there in Taiwan. You've really had some adventures in all your travels through the years. Such good "expewiences". I'm glad for you, but it's time to come home now. See you soon!!!

Looks like a wonderful weekend. Boy, do I cherish those days when I get to sleep in...what a nice present! Have you tried to post a video of Caroline singing? I would pay money to watch it. Is RA a good audience?
