For weeks, Charlotte kept talking about her "Melmo Irthday". She had no idea what a birthday was, but she knew she wanted an Elmo cake. I felt so bad for her, because her big day was such a rushed day and her actual party was very, very anti-climatic. With all that we had going on, we ended up celebrating her birthday at 8:00 on the night before her actual big day. Roy had to go out of town early the next morning, so we had to celebrate it a day early. At least she won't remember:)

Charlotte had some weird stomach thing going on, so she couldn't have any cake, but we gave her a lick!:
On her actual birthday, we went in to sing to her and see if the Birthday Fairy came. She did, but Charlotte could have
cared less! She was cranky!!

Grandaddy had a layover at the Charlotte airport, so Grammy came down to pick him up and spend the night with us. Grandaddy loves to party:)

Yes, Donna ALWAYS has great parties for the kids....but all you other girls do, as well. We're just a bunch of party animals!! Great pictures, Donna. That little Charlotte is really something special. I could just eat her up!!
I admire how you always pull off such nice birthdays with decorations and cakes. Was that a Sesame Street shower curtain that you hung in the back ground? Love the shirt Jessica made for Charlotte too! Speaking of too, I can't believe she's already two! She is precious!
