Roy returned home from a trip to Africa today, and boy did he have some good stories. The best one is best explained in a photo montage.
While visiting a remote leprosy village, he and 3 other guys on four-wheelers were chased by this guy.....with a machete:
Roy said he ran full speed for a good mile, holding that machete:Then, as they were getting ready to leave that village, they saw this guy walking towards them:
He started quickening his step (see the dust being kicked up?):
And then.....this happened:
I don't know about you, but if I had been there, I would have been in tears.....TERRIFIED tears.

Scary......creepy......sure glad Roy got home all right!
Oh my goodness, Donna! Doesn't that scare you to death? Is this a regular thing for Roy to experience on his trips? Yikes! I guess I had no idea people still lived like that.
Hey Donna! I couldn't believe that when Roy was showing it to John and me yesterday - that would have been so scary! His white water rafting trip at Victoria Falls is a good story too!!! What an adventure!!! I know you are glad he is back and I know he is happy to be home!
WOW is all I can say! I'm laughing that he sat there and videod it! I would have been screaming verses from the Bible. hahaha
