Big Firsts for Charlotte

In the past week, Charlotte has experienced some big "firsts".  She had her first plane trip last Friday:

My grandfather passed away last week, so she and I flew up to Chicago to attend the funeral.  She did a great job and I was actually complimented on her behavior by a few people when we landed.  Shew!  In the second picture above, she has a mouthful of Goldfish.  I let her have as many handfuls as she wished:)

And today, I took the kids to a brand new Krispy Kreme down the street for a special treat.  It's been opened for 3 days and it was yummy--and I'm not even a big donut fan!  I don't think she is, either, because she only ate about half of it.  But she sure looked cute in her little hat!

I'm sure glad you brought her with you to Indiana. I love that little thing, and it was so good to be with her again......and you too, of course. Ha,ha! I love you, too.

.....also, this plane trip was just a rehearsal for the very long one she'll be having in a few weeks when you all fly to Alaska. Take LOTS of goldfish!!

I'm not a big donut fan either but every now and then a Hot KK is really good! Glad she was good for you on your plane ride.
