My Little Da Vinci!
This morning, Caroline's sweet TK class had a "Mom's Art Show" to celebrate Mother's Day. All of the mommies came to a room that was set up like a mini-art gallery filled with art that had recently been done in the classroom. Then the teachers had little easels set up with chairs next to them. We all took turns sitting down while our little artists drew renditons of us. It was definitely a special morning and a sweet way to celebrate Mother's Day! And can I just say that I am SO sad that this school year is coming to a close. Caroline's teachers are the best she's ever had and I am truly going to miss them. Only 17 more school days? Doesn't seem right!

**By the way, the beautiful rendition of me features brown streaks in the blonde hair. I was told that this was my "brown roots". Ouch.

Beautiful!! It really is hard to believe that Caroline's school year is almost over....and Roy's too. where does time go? She sure is a great artist. That picture of you and her with your picture is so sweet. You need to crop that and use it as your face book picture, like I did. That would make her so proud!!
Didn't you just have your hair "done"? Kids are so funny! Hannah told me a few weeks ago that I was NOT pretty....I asked her if makeup would help and she said YES!!!! I died laughing.......Do you remember when your mother changed her hair-do you didn't like it? I never wanted my mother to change her hair-do for some strange reason!
Caroline draws really well......
That is sweet Donna! Mother's Day at school is always so fun, SO special!
Caroline looks SO HAPPY in that first picture. So cute!
I bet it was fun being there with her for Mother's Day. I can't believe her school year is almost over too. It feels like we were JUST there when her teachers came to your house that day and she was so embarrassed! So funny!
Happy Mother's Day. Can't believe you guys get out in May. We go through June 11. Love the most recent post :)
I love Caroline's portrait, and I love the brown roots, too! AK drew me for Mother's Day at school, and she said, "I'm sorry I gave you a pig nose, but it's what I think of when I draw your picture". I feel so loved. Oink.
