Mother's Day 2011

Mother's Day is always a special day, but this year it was very special for me. Our church had a baby dedication ceremony in the afternoon and so we were able to dedicate our little Charlotte to the Lord! She was so good during the ceremony. She just sat on Roy's lap looking around and pulling on her socks. It was a sweet service (with crying babies!).

Here is Charlotte's picture when it came up on the baby video:

Our family, minus RoyBoy. I don't know where he was:

There he is (licking the frosting off the cake):

The sweet Capins have been to each of our childrens' dedications. It has meant so much to us!

After the ceremony, there was a reception for the families. Each table had a little bowl of pink and bluw M&M's with a spoon to take them out with. At one time, I looked over and saw my two older children eating the M&M's with the spoon. Where is these childrens' mother??

It was also special to have both of our mothers spend the day with us. How often do people have both moms together on Mother's Day? We did! Thanks, Grammy and Nana for being a part of our family's special day!!

What a sweet Mother's Day for you Donna. Charlotte is the sweetest baby. I'm just praying for a good baby like her. I'm glad both Jane and mom were able to be there. Just wish we could have been there too. It's so nice the Capin's are always there for special things too. They look great and I miss seeing them.
