Our Christmas started with a trip to Virginia for Christmas with my family. We went a few days early to have a special dinner with the adults in my family. See Denise and Dolly's blogs (left sidebar) for more pictures and an explanation about that. It was a wonderful few days with everyone. After the Christmas Eve service, we all met back at my parent's house to get the night started. Here are a few pictures of my parents with their 13 grandchildren. Dolly is expecting number 14 in May. When it's all said and done, our family is going to be HUGE!!!:

I told them to make funny faces. I don't think the toddlers got it:

In order from oldest to youngest: Maddie, Grayson, Danny, Juette, Janna, Harry, Caroline, Margaux, Roy Austin, Wyatt, Michael and Jane. Margaux was upset about something, and Jane should be at the bottom:)

Grandaddy told them that while we were at church, Santa came by their house for an early visit:

Caroline was listening very carefully:

My beautiful mother and sweet Charlotte:

Grandaddy made a wonderful buffet for us to snack on while we opened presents. Let's just say that our family plans all events around food:) We know how to eat! First things, first though....a nice prayer thanking God for Jesus and for our health and family...

I told you we could eat. Beef tenderloin, turkey, ham, and all the fixings and a yummy dessert bar!

RoyBoy couldn't wait to open those presents!

Either could little Wyatt. These two boys are 3 weeks apart. One is potty trained, one isn't even close. Guess which? I'll give you a hint...it's mine (and he's older).

He got these pj's from Grammy and Grandaddy and immediately put them on. They are now called the "ball game pajamas".

Caroline got Samantha this Christmas! She LOVES it and carries it EVERYWHERE:

I didn't think I'd give in, but I was desperate on Christmas Eve and purchased a pillow pet. Caroline has seen the commercial for Pillow Pets all Fall and told me she wanted one so badly. I personally thought they were a waste of money but like I said, I gave in. She is happy:)

Roy Austin's big gift was his Toy Story 3 Geotrax train. He loved it!

I think this Roy Boy did, too. They put it together and played with it for a little bit:

Back to the food. My Daddy is famous for his pancakes and he did not disappoint on Christmas Morning. No sirreee. They were delish!!

We had a white Christmas, too! It was such a nice Christmas Day, watching the snow fall and watching movies all day long. The next day, the kids went to play in it while we packed up:

Auntie Dawn and Roy helped my Dad out and shoveled the driveways and sidewalks.

The drive home to Charlotte was beautiful! It was snowy the whole way home and all the pine trees along 29 and 85 were covered in snow. It was very nice. So, tomorrow we head to Raleigh for Christmas with Roy's family...part 2 coming soon!

It's so fun revisiting everything from your pictures. You're so right...CHristmas FLEW by this year. So sad it's all over. I can't even find anymore Christmas music on the radio. At least finish out the year people.
I LOL when I read the captions about the potty training with RA and Wyatt! So funny! And also laughed when I realized how much our family really DOES eat! Man!
It was so nice having you all with us again this year since you couldn't make it last year. Love you!
1. I bet that ride home to the Queen City WAS pretty! It is fun being out in the snow driving around when everyone else is at home!
2. Laughing at the potty training thing. He will learn when he is ready--don't push it.
3. Jane has the Polar Bear pillow pet, and she LOVES it! I don't let her sleep on it, but she props herself up on it when she watches a DVD--very cute!
Great pictures JF! Can't wait to come down there for "HaPpY nEw YeAr."
Another great DOnna post!!!! I loved all the pictures and hearing about your family's wonderful Christmas. Your kids are going to grow up with the funnest memories of going to Lynchburg and being with their cousins. Little Charlotte is getting so big. She looks so much like Caroline. Those Graham genes are strong aren't they? You will be glad to know that I am starting January 1 with blogging again. I have lots to share with yall.
