**THIS POST IS EXTREMELY LONG WITH AN EXTREME AMOUNT OF PICTURES**I know it's said often, but this week flew by. It's so funny when you go home for a visit and you have so many things you want to do or accomplish and you end up doing not even half of those things! We enjoyed our visit, though. Before we left to go to VA on Saturday, we went to an Easter Egg Hunt at some of our friends' house. It was a great party and at one time I told my friend, Jessica, that I felt like we were in the movie
Steel Magnolias (the Easter Egg Hunt scene). It was just like the movie:

After the Easter party, the kids and I drove on up to my parent's home. Sunday after church, we had a big dinner with our family and some friends. We did some good eating and followed it up with a kick ball game--sibling style. All of my sisters, two of my brothers-in-law and some nieces and nephews played each other. It got heated at time but we all got a good workout out of it:

This is the latest "fun" thing to do at Grammy and Grandaddy's--ride the golf cart. In this picture, DanDan is driving the crew to Auntie Dawnie's house for dinner:

Tuesday was Caroline's 4th birthday. The "
Birthday Fairy" came while she was sleeping. She woke up to a room full of balloons to ring in her special day:

Roy had come up late Monday night for her birthday. She was so happy he was there and literally followed him around all day. It was sweet:

I asked her back in January what kind of birthday party theme she wanted and she said "Snow White". So Snow White, it was. I looked on Ebay and got a cute costume from China for $16! I was nervous to see it, but when it came, I was pleasantly surprised! We made a "Magic Mirror" for a photo op at the party. You will see some funny faces in a second.

(I have more funny "mirror" faces, but the computer won't let them rotate for some reason!!)

My mom thought it was funny to keep putting glasses on Roy Austin during the week. I guess she thought he looked pretty studious. Here is our future brainiac:

Maddie enjoyed wearing this hot pink hat all week (you can see her in it in the above birthday pictures). She informed me that the latest style is to wear it kind of on the back of your head. She kept doing these cool dance moves in it, too. We thought a good hip-hop name for her would be M-Lo. Actually, any Logan family member's hip hop name could be their first initial followed by a "Lo". My hip hop name is Dr. G (my initials), Caroline's is C-Line and Roy Austin's is 'Lil Ra (Ra pronounced "ray").

Thursday night, Dolly had a Mary Kay party at her house. It was a fun girls night with lots of laughter and some yummy desserts. It was good to see Joy and Jenny again, too. Girls...comment once in a while, please!
Nikki, was there, too, and she looks adorable with her pregnant tummy! My nieces, Maddie, Grayson and Janna were able to come and put makeup on for the night. They loved it and ate up the opportunity.

After the party, Jane and Michael got to do some hanging out together in the crib. These two are a little over a month apart and I have a feeling they'll be buddies:

We came home on Friday afternoon just in time for a huge thunder and rain storm! We all got into bed and took a 4 hour nap:) I was exhausted....just like I am now from completing this huge post. Have a wonderful weekend and a very Happy Easter!

Those pictures bring back all the memories of last week. Too bad we didn't get more! JCrew pix and Toys R Us pix would have been a hoot I tell you, a HOOT!
Such a great post Donna! I love all the pictures! So glad you had a great time this week. I love holidays and being able to spend time with family. If you're like me though, I'm ready for the "sanity" of next week when things are back to normal. :) Thanks for taking the time to post the pictures - so cute!
Great post Donna! You really did outdo yourself for Caroline's birthday. You didn't mention the beautiful cakes you made...one for the kids and one for the adults. They were BOTH yummy!
I'm LOL at Maddie in that pink hat. That girl loved her hat and sure is growing up. I love the names too...M Lo and Lil Ra!

Great pictures.....and fun post. I loved seeing all the family pictures. Sorry I missed out on the fun times. Yes, Cissie's Snow White memories are hysterical to me but not to her...I just wish I could find a video of that day at school........but she did get her prince and he is a good one at that!!!! If you remember she had to sing-One Day My Prince Will Come! I can start laughing right now thinking about that day. That day holds some of my fondest memories!!!

First of all, what kind of nuts does Jane have in her cheeks? Those are the cutest things ever!!!
