Thirty-two years ago today, a sweet boy was born in Boone, NC. Yes, today is Roy's birthday! He hates being the center of attention, but today is his day and we are going to celebrate him all day long. The kids and I will go to his office for a surprise party with some of his colleagues and then we'll have a little family party for him here tonight.
I remember when we were in the flirting stage, right before we started dating. He was turning 23 and I wanted to get him something, but didn't know what to do. I really didn't know him well enough to buy him a gift. So, I made him a batch of chocolate chip cookies. I was so nervous to give them to him--I almost backed out--but I decided to go through with it and when I did, he got a huge smile on his face!
RoyBoy, I am so glad that you picked me to be the one who bakes for you! I love you more than you'll ever know. Happy Birthday!!

Happy Birthday Roy! I am sure it will mean so much coming from me since you have no idea who I am. :)
That is such a funny and sweet story about the cookies. You Reber girls always rope your men in with cookies!
Lovin the new look. All the cartoon characters are so cute, especially the one of you. Lookin a little sassy. Who did the design?
A very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to a wonderful son in law. We love you, Roy, and are also so happy that you picked Donna to do your cooking for you....written as another key pops off my computer keypad!!
Have a wonderful day, and we'll see you soon.
Happy Birthday Roy, we love you. Preston remembers being in France when your Dad called to say you were born. You were a precious, beautiful and funny child.
Have a great day.

Happy Birthday Roy!!! I remember all of our times together...the night Kristi and I went to dinner with the Rebers girls and you, that other day when...wait a minute, now that I think about it, that's the only time I've ever met you.
I hope you have a great day and get lots and lots of attention...especially from that domesticated wife of yours! :)
Happy Birthday to one of my favorite BIL's. We love you and will call you later and sing the birthday song to you.
Happy Birthday Roy Sr! I love calling him Senior! I remember when you and Donna started dating too. You've been a fun and wonderful BIL...and now, there is LeRoy. Glad you're in our family because without you, there would just be Le and no Roy.
We love you very much!
Happy Birthday Roy!!
This morning Amanda & I wished him Happy Bday. I asked if this was 32 and he said yes and that this was the first year that he felt like he was getting old. LOL! I hope that's not the case because I am not far behing him. :o) Isn't old, like 70, 80?!?
Hope it's a great day!
Happy Birthday, Roy....from another one who you have no clue who I am!! But we sure know about how SPECIAL you are! Hope you have a wonderful day.
Donna --love the new LOOK of your blog - you are so amazing in how you are always shaking it up! Also, I have to tell you...over the holidays I made your Chocolate Chip Pumpkin muffins - it was part of our Christmas breakfast - my family fell in LOVE with them! In fact, Evan, our son, wanted me to make them over cookies before he went back to LU! :) So, thanks for passing that recipe along!
Woo-Wee!!! Who is this designer that has pimped you and Jennifer's blog. Once again, I have major blog inferiority!!
Happy Birthday Roy. I also remember the fond time I shared with you in September and our "embrace" as I left that day. It is marked in my mind as I'm sure it is yours. (Private joke with Donna, girls....get ya minds outa the gutta)
You have a great wife and I'm glad you picked her. Donna, are you going to be blogging about 10 P.M. tonight? Just wondering!!!!
By the way...Roy, when you read these comments tonight, I hope deep down inside you admit that you love your wifes blog and you love finding out what's going on with everyone at night when you come home and you're eating dinner with your family. After reading all these birthday greetings how can you not love "The Station?"
Okay donna, I feel like I know you now. I have sat on here for an hour like a psycho trying to figure out who I am buying for. It was fun reading about your life the past couple of months. ha ha! You can blog about so much more when you are private. thanks for inviting me onto your blog...I like to know people who have my same views on life.
oh, and happy Birthday Roy.... :)
Happy Birthday to Roy. I am sure the day is special from start to end.
Your blog renovation looks AMAZING! So hip.
Happy Birthday, Roy! Haven't been online for a few days and wow -- a new look and unveiling for Roy's birthday -- what a gift! Looks great; hope that the celebration continues for days!
Kristi!!! What in the world????
Happy Birthday, Roy!
Happy Birthday Roy....and I am glad you picked Donna too. You did well! I can not believe I am old enough to have one son turn 32 and the other one turning 34 on Friday, alone with my dad turning 87. Where does the time go? It seems to be picking up speed .....
Hannah you are so funny...you write like you talk. I wish I could do that.
Denise, don't you remember in September after we had eaten at that restaurant and were about to leave that Dolly and DOnny asked me to go and hug Roy goodbye. He gave me the coldest half-hug and look you can imagine!
