Oh, after re-reading your "caption" I realize that you lost it AT Harris Teeter. Maybe someone picked it up and turned it in. Have you checked on that? Guess you'll have to start collecting again. I hope your gift cards weren't in that container along with your coupons. What kind of coupons do you use/need? Maybe I could send you some to replenish your stock.
Oh girl, I so feel your pain. My post from January 31st was my experience with loosing my coupons. I am so sorry for you. This sounds a little crazy, but I actually won an award in High School for being the most Thrifty. I just so feel for you. Maybe someone will be a Good Samaritan and turn them in... or maybe you can just write it off as a tax deduction for next year. I mean that probably added up as a huge donation to someone.
Donna call them to see if they have it. I have left mine at Target before, and they have had it. Actually, last time I left my coupon book at Target, I also left Dan Dan's throw up bucket in the cart too (it was a few weeks ago when the stomach bug hit our house). When I went back a few days later to see if they had my coupon book, I didn't dare ask if they had the bucket too. Lucky Target, they are probably still holding that nasty throw up bucket in their lost and found.
BTW, different subject but, Donna, don't worry about looking for clothes for Margaux at the sale this week. I was just hanging up some of her clothes today. Thanks to you and Grammy, she has plenty of clothes! I mean, how many dresses does a 1 year old need. Now, shoes's that's a different story.
Well, I called Harris Teeter first thing this morning when I realized I hadn't seen my beautiful blue coupon book in a few days. They didn't have it. I was soooo upset because I had 2 $10 off coupons for HT in there. Plus I had major diaper coupons and Huggies are on sale this week at HT. I was honestly so sad (I know, I'm a loser). When we got home this morning, I decided to go search my car for the 3rd time and, thank you Jesus, it was under my passenger seat!!!!!! HARRIS TEETER, HERE I COME (tomorrow)!
Isn't that weird when you search the same spot several times and nothing was there before, but NOW miraculously it shows up! I'm so glad you were able to find them! I would have been devestated also!
New post, new post...picture of your "jumping for you, counting your coupons, thanking the Lord,..." So happy for you on your big find!
I've been listening to Michael Buble at work today and of course, thoughts of you have surfaced MANY times with the music. Have prayed for both you and Roy this morning -- didn't know of your dire need yet but God continues to be so faithful and answer the unsaid prayers.
This pic is hilarious...so glad you found your coupons. By the way...I need to talk to you sometime about this grocery game thing. :) I need a good coach!! LOL
When I saw the picture I thought someone had died. Thank goodness it was just the coupon book and thank goodness you found it! Apparently, the Lord wants you to be thrifty too...
Love the picture, Donna. Quick question...how do you get $10 off Harris Teeter coupons? I used to get them for Lowe's Foods, but they told me they are not doing that anymore.
Oh yes they are! They just have to be the right dates. They used to take them regardless but now they're buckling down. As long as the dates are the same, they'll take them.
Donna, I am slow in reading this post. I was going to offer my condolences but then I read on and now I offer my congratulations to you! I bet you slept good last night.
BTW - Why are you clipping coupons....after all, you are a GRAHAM!!!! LOL!
Donna, Does 46 places today mean the people from 46 different places have read your blog just TODAY? That can't be right...??!! And then 93 views means 93 different people have read you blog and know about your coupons? Unreal...I am just shaking my head right now... I was about to say, if that's right, probably someone from that HT has read your blog today and is on the lookout. But glad you found them.
Seriously, Elizabeth! Don't be surprised if you see a scared looking young mother in line tomorrow at the sale with a baby hanging off her chest in the baby bjourn and holding the hand of a 3 year old, while giving her the lecture to "stay right beside me and if you do, you'll get a special treat". It will be me.

Well, where do you think you lost it? Surely it will show up somewhere. Don't fret!!
Sorry to be laughing but that's funny! (the pic that is)

Oh thank goodness that you found it! I've actually left mine at HT before and thankfully they kept it for me. What a scare! :)

I clip coupons because my mama trained me right! I love to save any way I can!

Look under your seat again. Maybe you can find a babysitter for tomorrow, too.

ouch! I lost my wallet this week. But two days later I went by publix and they still had it! What a great Samaritan!
