Smock It To Me, Part II

I know, I know...two posts in one day! I'm crazy! I loved my post title from the last sale, so I had to use it again! Tonight was the Divine Consign Show in Charlotte. This consignment sale only sells upscale/smocked clothes and it is a great time to stock up on church or nice play clothes. Those of you who don't get into smocked clothes or if you don't live in the South, please pardon this post. Here are some highlights of my evening:
My friend Elizabeth was second in line. She took this chance to catch up on some serious reading. Sorry, Elizabeth! I don't think you knew that I took your picture!!
My friend, Haley's husband Chris, actually stood in line for her until she got to the sale!! That's what I call a dedicated father/husband! Roy actually met me at the sale, too, to take the kids. He was waiting for me when I got there! GO ROY!!!
Decisions, decisions. Should Haley get it or not? She got it!

Hannah lucked out and found an outfit with an "A" on it for AnnaPreston! YES!

Thank you, Lord! I found MORE sibling outfits! I know that in 10-12 years, Caroline and Roy Austin will be totally embarrassed of the pictures I'll take of them in their matchy-matchies:)

Sorry, Suzanne. It pays to either sell at this sale or volunteer. Hannah and I got to go to the early sale while she had to wait 2 hours later for the public sale. Hannah, quit rubbing your bargains in Suzanne's face.

I do believe that Miss Caroline is SET for summer. She got this cute ballerina smock that she loves! She wanted to try it on right away when I showed her!

I L-O-V-E this Madeline smock I got Caroline. I was so proud of it and when I showed it to her, she looked at me like "Who's Madeline?" I need to buy her the book now so she'll understand the correlation.

Denise, here are the bubbles I bought Margaux. The green one is my favorite. Caroline likes the Cinderella one and wanted to know where hers was. Beggars can't be choosers, Caroline. It's hard to tell how cute these outfits really are in this picture. Margaux will also get the above smocks in approximately 2 years. Don't you just love hand-me-downs?!

So that's it...until next month when the next big consignment sale happens, anyway:)

Poor little Roy. He is going to be dressed like a homo. You need to get Big Roy a matching outfit.

BTW, I cannot believe that one girls husband LET you take his picture. I hope he knows what you were planning to do with it!

I AM SO JEALOUS!!!!! I cannot find smocked stuff for Olivia. Sniff, Sniff.

First off, Eddie, I have seen pictures of you and your sweet brothers in the same type of outfits. I have been given an age limit by your big brother for when the smocks have to stop. Roy Austin will only be a baby for so long then he can wear khakis, jeans...hey, I might even allow for some camo...for the REST OF HIS LIFE! Let his Mommy have fun for 18 months or so, okay?

Second, I asked Chris if I could take his pic for my blog. They have one, too. Roy sped away too quickly before I could get his picture with our kids in the car.

By the way, Edward...I don't get your name ID?

GOod post! You are really a dedicated blogger to already have a post up. Good job. Edward's post says, "Edward can't relate because he is so hot."

Anyway, I love the little froggy outfits! Glad you found some good stuff. Remember your sister Dolly too when you want to get rid of your things one day.

First of all, I get Edie's name. He is apparently SO hot, he cannot relate to things of this matter Donna.

Still laughing at his comment.

Second--Dolly, are you PLEASE trying to tell us something????!!!!

Dolly????
I love the smocks Donna. I must admit I was a little worried when I saw how many people were there for the preview sale! But I lucked out. I had a budget and I only went 24 dollars over the budget! not too bad. Love Hannah's A dress! Too cute!

Donna said...

Yeah, that's it.

Actually, I am pleased to say that he is the first man to EVER comment on my blog! Go, Edward!

That Eddie sure is sure of himself. I think that's the first MALE comment ever to be on a blog too. I didn't know he was the type to be a blog lurker.

Donna- I saw your friend Jessica (Taylor Times) at the sale last night too. Looked like she was racking up!

Don Don, I don't recall every seeing Wilbo, RA1 and Eddie in smocks but I just had a brilliant idea..In order for them to quit hassling you, I think you should post this pic you're talking about!!! Priceless.

As for you, Edward, you too sexxy for a blog? Kudos on commenting. Now give us peeps the skinny on the Daddy-to-be! Just wait, honey...just wait. You're gonna be mush.

Good finds, Donna. You are a great blogger - and I love how your pictures tell such a great story!!!

I sure wish I could have been saling with you, Donna. I taught your girls well, didn't I? Might not have given you all baby books, but I taught you how to find a bargain!! Does that count? Yes, you're P31 girls, all of you! Really, though, I'm glad you had such a good time. Doing things like that is far more fun than walking into any department store and buying anything you want. Suzanne, you'll have to be a "helper" next time so you can get in early, too.

Donna,

Your sisters seem to be the only ones that really understand me. I'm sorry you couldn't understand my name. I was going to use wealllovenedgraham, but Kristy said I couldn't use that one. And the only reason why I'm on your blog, is because I have a small, but large belly wife that adores your blogs and tells me everything about your families.

Love,
Edward
