Sweet Duet

This morning I had a doctor's appointment, so my sister stayed at my house and kindly watched my two children along with her own and managed to pack up their stuff, do laundry and give baths! Well, when I returned and opened the front door, this is how I found Caroline and her cousin, Harrison Jack:

They were doing a duet to some show on Nickelodeon and their mics were the beaters to my mixer. I laughed so hard and quickly got my camera. It was so cute because they were so into it and they were swaying to the music. And I'm sure you've noticed Caroline's ultra-hip outfit. It was picked out and placed on her by none other than my super cool niece, Maddie, who has loved dressing Caroline and doing her hair. I think every time I saw Caroline this weekend, she had a new hairstyle and a new bow in her hair. Maddie even informed me last night that side ponytails were the new style. Thanks for the tip, Maddie. I'll have to try that sometime soon.

So, the Logan fam are now back on the road to Virginia. This will be a busy week as I finish up my shopping, run last minute errands, clean up the house (I hate leaving town with a messy house!) and leave for my parent's home. Then the next week will be even busier with Christmas, traveling back to NC to be with Roy's family and then the big wedding and all the festivities that come with that! I'm already tired just thinking about it.
