Smock It To Me!

Tonight Hannah, Glenda and I went to the Divine Consign consignment sale! I was so excited about this sale all day long and couldn't wait to see what they had to offer. I was expecting a long line and tons of crazy shoppers, but it was relatively quiet and low key! We found some cute stuff and got some good deals, although the building was so hot and humid and we sweated to death during the process. I even got Roy Austin some smocked bubbles and Roy even gave me the green light when I got home! I think he's starting to come around. Here are some photos of our evening...

Hannah the good friend. She was calling her friend, Anna, to see if she wanted to get her son any longalls for the winter.

Thank you Lord! I found sibling Christmas outfits! I'm sensing the Graham Family Christmas Card is in the works!!

Suzanne came all the way from Belmont for this mega sale. She brought along Sarah and her mom! Sarah racked up on some cute dresses.

Hmmmmmm. Decisions, decisions. Classic "Hannah" Face! AnnaPreston racked up on some deals, too!

Denise, here is the dress I got Margaux. It's a must for any little girl who lives on the coast of Florida. The back has smocked starfish:)

Looks like ya'll had a good time together. I'm not sure if Leland will go for the smock thing for boys but we'll see.

Dolly, maybe a smocked printing press...heidelberg at that?!?!

Donna, GOOD post. I laughed out loud at the title...you're so creative with words. You forgot to mention the TWO dresses that had "Caroline" monogrammed on them!
Girls, let me just tell you that Donna prayed before she went in there and it was obvious!

were the prices that good?

HPS, I'm LOL...a smocked press! Now that's funny.

Lets just say that things were workin in her favor and her bill was almost exactly her grocery savings. now, call me crazy but i think the Lord was honoring her good, prov 31 stewardship w/ $$$$. i looked at her and said, "don don, u must've prayed before we came." and she said, "actually, i did." jenius, that's your girl...THAT's your girl!!!!!

Yes, I am embarrassed to admit that I did say "Lord, help me find some good deals". Is that bad?! I know, I'm crazy when it comes to these kind of deals. I just went to Pier One Kids for their 90% off sale and I found the letter "A" for Roy Austin's room. I needed an "R" but couldn't find one. The A was 50 cents and the lady told me I could just have it! She said it was her gift for the baby:)

Yes, Hannah, I forgot to mention the "Caroline" dresses! They are too cute and were meant just for me. I think that was God answering my prayer:)

NO..that's not bad. You're a good steward, Don Don!

I just had to go back there b/c the froggy dress didn't have buttons or button holes. They didn't have another so my mom is going to do the buttons but they gave me one of those bows for free. She said the stuff tomorrow is going to all be 50% off (consignors choice) so if there was stuff you were debating on, maybe you should go check it out tomorrow!

I am DONE! I was putting the kids' stuff away this morning and they have plenty...esp. Miss Caroline. She is SET.

That's too bad about the frog dress. You can probably find some cute buttons to add to the dress.

I'm envious of all you ladies going to that great sale together. In my day, I used to go to all kinds of sales for little girls dresses. Remember that one that I used to go to when I got so many dresses and you girls had a fashion show to model them all. Just wait till Miss C gets old enough to do the fashion show thing.

I'm really happy that you....and all the girls got so many great things. Charlotte sure is a happenin' place!!

Okay, I am sorry to get to this post so late. I am so excited for you girls that I can hardly type. I keep hitting the backspace key.

I wish so bad that I was there.

Donna--love the title, and love the dress for Margaux. I will send a check out on Monday.

HPS--You are so funny! Also, I like your shirt in the pix. Is it a Target original? I almost bought it.

Denise,

You guessed it. It IS a Target original but I was so busy at the consignment sale that it kept riding up and exposing my undies. If you look real close in the top pic, you can see my neon green VS's hanging out. EMBARRASSING!

I just looked at the pic and I don't see it.

Double click on it to make it bigger and you see it right beside the pocketbook...a little green triangle sticking out above my jeans.
