When we got to the pumpkin patch--or as she calls it "punkin pash"--she was a little overwhelmed by all the pumpkins. She just stood and looked and we had to tell her that it was okay to pick them up and play with them! She loved the hayride and the petting zoo, though.
I started having major braxton hicks contractions while we were there that lasted all through the night and I honestly thought last night could be the night, but thankfully it wasn't! I am still not packed for the hospital and there are a few things I need/want to do before next Friday! I did tell Roy that I was going to do my hospital laundry and pack today, just in case Roy Austin picks his own day to arrive:) Hopefully we'll make it to the 26th!!! Here are some pictures of our night 'o fun...
It's okay, Caroline. You can pick them up!
Which one to choose....so many choices...
Caroline and her daddy on the hayride. See the sweet, little Boy Scout in the background? One word: ANNOYING!
My favorite was the piglets. They were so cute and they kept shaking!
Caroline was a little timid to feed the sheep! I don't blame her, because I was too! They kept "baa-ing" really loudly and she thought it was hilarious.
Preparing for her upcoming Halloween role: Cowgirl.
We finally settled on a nice Caroline-sized pumpkin and called it a night!

Yeah, Punkin Patch! Those are good pics. I like the Chik-fil-a one. Might be the last pics of family of 3!
Did you see the new baby cow? It was born the day we were there and the mom's milk had JUST come in and it looked MISERABLE. I felt her pain, alright!
I think you should do a poll for people to guess any date of birth before C-section day. I have a sneakin suspicion you might not make it!
We had fun today. Thanks again! Love, Hannie
Yes, we saw the cow and the mom! I felt so badly for her because she was SOOOOO engorged and it looked painful. I told Roy, that's going to be me in 2 weeks:)
Caroline looks adorable in her blue jeans and polka dot sweater! I do love this baby stage, but I look at photos like that and think how much fun we have to look forward to. Great Post! Love Roy's smile.
Donna, somehow I missed your Friday post of baby Caroline. I just saw it and I still can not believe how much hair Caroline was born with. Wonder if Roy Austin will have that or maybe he will take after his mommy. who knows? no mullets, please. and yes, I do remember leaving the room when you were crying, but after having a baby, I can so relate. Seems I am still more hormonal than I ever was before I was pregnant. Maybe hormonal is not the word, more like emotional.
Looks like you three had a great day! I'm so glad you're doing things with that sweet Caroline before her little brother comes. I think I better pack my bag just in case you call me and tell me "it's time" before I come down next Thursday. I'll be there in a flash if you should go into labor early. Everyone's getting excited for you now...the time is getting so close. See you all very soon. ILY
Very, very funny, chasing Chick-fil-A through the barnyard! She is too cute! I remember the night before I had Harrison, because I was a planned c-section. I cried so bad that Madde would feel so left out when we brought him home! But she was so happy to have her little brother, I can't say she always is now, but when he was a baby she loved on him a lot! It is such an exciting time, I am so happy for you!
I loved looking at these pictures. Caroline is getting so big. I'm getting excited for you too Donna. I hope it's getting a little cooler their by now. Please try to hold on a little longer until I get home before you go into labor.
That was nice Donna. It is nice of you to think of making memories with Caroline before the baby comes. You're a good mom.
By the way, someone on here commenting has a Harrison and a Maddie--it's a smal world.
Those pics are adorable Donna!!! Looks like you all had a great time...I'm trying to get Joshua to take me to a pumpkin patch in Gatlinburg. We'll see how it goes! haha Well, I'll be there Friday and I hope I don't interfere with Roy Austin's arrival. However, it would be a memory! haha
Denise, the Harrison and Maddie are Sommer Forlano's (or new name Goldsmith) two kids. It's cool you both have the same names.
