Last night, my sweet Bible Study friends threw a baby shower for Roy Austin! It was very nice of them and greatly appreciated! They even took out the china, silver and crystal for the occasion! We were showered with great gifts and it was just fun to spend another night with girls only! This morning Caroline and I are going to wash the rest of Roy Austin's clothes and put everything away in his room. I think we're now officially ready for him to arrive! Julie Day, if you're reading this, the shower was postponed from Sunday to last night. Thanks fo rushing the pumpkins to me--I feel bad!
Our Bible Study
This morning when Caroline saw all the gift bags in the kitchen, she wanted to see each gift. I have to say that the Bumbo was her favorite. She asked me what it was and I told her it was RoyBoy's seat and she said "No, that's silly! It's Caroline's seat!" and then she plopped right down into it!! We are going to have no problems sharing in this family.

I'm so glad your friends gave you that nice shower. The decorations were so nice, with all the china and crystal, and even an Amry-Navy tablecloth. I have one of those but haven't used it in years. I'm so anxious to see how Caroline reacts to little Roy Boy coming home to live in your house. As much is you've talked about it and gotten things ready, I just don't think she actually KNOWS what's going to be happening. I'm glad I'll be there to see it first hand.

I am so happy you had a nice shower too. You wouldn't let any of us do anything big for you so you deserve to have at least one nice shower. Looks like those girls did it right and the cake looked great too! Good job Jessica!
I reminded Franklin last night that he will be another granddaddy in a week from today!!! He got a big smile on his face so I know he's excited as well.
I love the picture of Caroline in the bumbo seat. Caleb LOVES to sit in Kathryn's. He always wants us to take her out and let him sit in it. It is amazing that he can still fit in it too!

By the way, I just ordered some pumpkins yesterday from Julie Day and she mailed them to me TODAY. Turn around just doesn't get any better than that?!??!
