A Howlin' Good Time!

Roy Austin's birthday weekend started off with his school party.  I brought in a cookie cake and he LOVED having his friends sing to him:)

On his birthday, we woke him up by singing "Happy Birthday".  He wasn't too thrilled.

Later that morning, he and Roy headed up to Great Wolf Lodge to get the party started!  The girls and I joined them after school let out.  We couldn't get there fast enough!

Roy Austin really likes Cadillac Escalades.  We count them on the road and he tells us that when he gets 16, he will drive one....but it has to be black.  So, he wanted a Cadillac Escalade cake for his birthday and it had to be black:)  So, I did my best!

He got a Black Cadillac Escalade remote control car!
Grammy and Grandaddy sent rollerskates and they were a hit! He tried them up and down the hotel hallway and fell many times!

This little girl (Who refers to herself as "Baby Sister") had her fair share of Cadillac Cake.
At the Clock Tower show later that night, she was a WRECK.  She wouldn't sit down and was dancing all over the place. I think she was on a serious sugar high!  She went back to the room early:)

These two were very good.  I think they were very tired:)  Notice Roy Austin's Spiderman gloves that go with his knee pads and elbow pads for the roller skates.  He LOVED these gloves, Mom!

The kids were so excited to have their own "Den" to sleep in.  It was a private area with their own TV.  They thought they were living large.

I have to say that the water park at GWL is really cool.  I'm not a waterpark fan but this was fun.  Every few minutes this HUGE bucket of water pours out on people.  Roy Austin is in the red shirt getting ready to get soaked.

We rode slides and raced each other.  We did the wave pool and then rode more fun slides!

We were tired when we checked out but we all had fun together.  Hopefully Roy Austin will always remember his 5th birthday, celebrated in a hotel room:)

What a nice time you had. No, Roy will never forget his 5th birthday at Great Wolf Lodge. What fun. That water park was really something. Was the water cold? Daddy and I laughed at the first picture of Charlotte with the cake all over her face and hair in her eyes. Daddy said "that's Donna"! It does kind of look like you when you were that age! BTW, your cake was great....but I didn't expect anything else from you. Once again, you planned a birthday to be remembered. Thanks for all the pictures. Loved every one of them!!

Donna, I cannot believe you made that cake. Seriously! You need to start selling cakes.
