It's official...we have a FIRST GRADER in our home! Last night we packed up the backpack, laid out the uniform and then read, "The Night Before First Grade"...

| ...and then hurried off to school. She was a little nervous to walk in, but she did fine! Here she is with her teacher, Mrs. Brackman. Her other teacher is on maternity leave. |

I loved reading about Caroline's first day of 1st grade. Looks like it went well and everyone was happy. You're a good mommy making a cake, getting "the night before 1st grade," Chick-fil-a...clap, clap, clap.
What a nice post, and what nice pictures of your little first grader and her adoring family. I loved that picture of her eating at Chick-Fil-A.....she looks so happy. Can't wait to find out all about her first two days of school when you all come tomorrow night.
By the way, I should have said something earlier, but I LOVE your new heading. Did you do it yourself?
