This past weekend was a special weekend at our home. First off, Caroline lost both of her two front teeth on Friday night. They had been loose for a long time and we had tried all last week to get those things out. By Friday, they were literally hanging (gross!) so she pulled the first one by herself and about an hour later she finally let her Auntie Dawnie pull the second one out. I have to say that I absolutely love the new look of our sweet girl:

She looks so adorable and she now has a slight lisp:) I know the chicklet teeth will come in soon enough, so for now I'm going to soak in this toothless wonder! Here was her note for the Tooth Fairy---just in case she didn't realize that there was TWO teeth instead of one:

And Auntie Dawnie was here visiting with my parents because it was my birthday over the weekend! I had a Saturday birthday, so the whole day was spent having fun with my family. It was a great day that ended with a
delicious meal Roy made for us and a beautiful cake that Caroline helped my Mom make for me. I have to say, though, that the best part of my weekend was this...

...having my three sweet babies, gathered around me-- all smiling-- while they sang me my birthday song. I loved looking over and seeing their faces in the candle light!

Aw, Love that toothless Carolina! And I LOVE that last picture of the children around you. By the way, in the picture that Cissy posted on FB I thought it was Dawn. In the last picture you posted on this blog post I see Dolly big time and a bit of me. Funny how we are all looking more alike the older we get.
Love the new toothless Caroline! Can't wait to hear her talk when we see her next week. I also love the last picture of you and your sweet kiddos. Glad you had a nice bday weekend. I bet Caroline loved having mom there to help her make the cake for you too.
