Trick or Treat 2011

For Halloween 2011, we chose a Peter Pan theme. Roy always laughs at me for picking themed sibling costumes for the kids, but I love it! I know there is going to be one year that they will all want to be different things for Halloween, but as long as the kids will play along, I am happy:)

We started off our festivities at Roy's office to pass out caramel corn and candy to some co-workers. This was after school and during nap time.....and probably not the best idea of the day.

Most Likely to Play Tinkerbell Award goes to...... Charlotte! The blue eyes and blond hair really helped her win the part:

Most Likely to Play Big Sister Wendy goes to....Caroline! She LOVED being Wendy and she loved the dress:)

(I thought for sure Charlotte would be walking by now but she has zero interest. She is a true hip baby.)

And our Peter Pan had to be Roy Austin. I had to wake him up from a deep sleep to get ready for trick or treating, and let's just say he wasn't in the best of moods. He needed some pixie dust to get him going.

Just about ready to go, but first...let's take some pictures!

Come on, everyone. Say "trick-or-treat!":

Just one good picture!

Not happening. I think my kids see me with a camera in my hand and they automatically get annoyed. Happy Halloween! (oh, and notice the cool alien from ToyStory that Roy did on the pumpkin. I bought a nice, big pumpkin to carve and when we opened it, it was ROTTEN inside and SOOO disgusting! The smell was horrific!)

Sweet Sisters:)

Daddy and Tink:Our neighborhood gave our really good candy this year. I sorted through it when the kids came home to get rid of the gross candy (Laffy Taffy and old lady candy). There really wasn't much of it! Now I'm home each morning with a gigantic bowl full of good candy. Not good!!!!

Everyone played the perfect role! Especially little Tink! Loved all your pics and I'm sure Roy was proud to have you all come and pass out things at work. I know what you mean too about being home alone with all the candy. Nap time for Michael means me sneaking into his little stash. Shhhhh!

Old lady candy is nasty hard candy...things old ladies always have in ther purses, like cinnamon discs, butterscotch discs, Mary Janes, that orange and black wrapped andy, etc.

Oh I like Mary Janes and butterscotch candy! Guess that officially makes me an old lady!
