A Little This and That

1. If you want to be in the Fall Swap, go here. A group of us girls have done this for about 3 years and it's been such a fun thing. Don't be afraid to get involved--it's easy!! The site has more details about it. If you want to join, do it by Wednesday morning. The Fall swap is the best!! Who doesn't like to get a package in the mail with fun surprises in it?!

2. If you come to our house don't think we're in the Overeaters Anonymous Club. Remember how we had to get a lock on the pantry? Well, we now have a lock on our refrigerator, as well, due to a certain someone devouring two slices of pizza and two squeezable yogurts while I got ready on Friday. Then I looked over a little later and saw him sitting on the counter trying to pour an almost-full 2liter of Sprite. He's also been spotted a few times trying to make his own chocolate milk with Hershey syrup and a huge gallon of milk. It was an accident waiting to happen.

3. Here is our little kindergartner veterinarian, Dr. Caroline Graham. Friday was Community Helper Day at her school. She loved that she got to bring her stuffed animal to school. She had to make a bank for school, too. All the kindergarten classes put their buildings together to make one big community and the parents got to come for a little reception. Cute, cute, cute!!

4. For those of you on Pinterest, you may have seen this. I saw it on my sister's board and decided to give it a try. It was so easy to make and looks really pretty at night when the candle is lit. I searched everywhere for Indian corn and finally Walmart got a huge shipment in this past week. It look much prettier in real life, so if you want a pretty Fall centerpiece or something to put on a coffee table, this is nice!

5. And last but not least, here is a sweet little video clip from last weekend when our VA cousins and aunties came to visit. Charlotte suddenly realized that Eleanore existed and every time she was let down to crawl, she'd find Baby Eleanore and want to attack her. SO funny!!!

Little Charlotte really did go crazy over her cousin....it's was funny to watch. It's amazing how babies always gravitate to other babies.

Your centerpiece is very nice. Just be careful how you store in until next fall. Remember how I got mine out of the attic one year and the corn was all gone....nothing but the husks left? I guess there were some fat rodents lurking around somewhere up there!!

I'm laughing that ya'll had to put a "lock" on your fridge! hahaha and the kids faces are hilarious. Caroline looked really cute with her vet costume on and love the video of Charlotte with her new bff, Eleanore. I have a feeling those two are going to be great friends. Makes me happy! Oh, and the center piece turned out great! Can't wait to try mine.

GREAT POST...I love your new fall decoration. Did you have to glue the Indian Corn to the vase or just used the ribbon to keep them on? I would love to make it. Caroline's school photographs are great and I love the photograph of the 2 eldest in front of the fridge...so funny!
