After a BBQ lunch and saftey talk, my hunters hit the field. One of Caroline's favorite things to do on the dove hunt is play with the corn in the field nearby:

Here they are with some of the birds they got. Roy said that when he'd shoot a bird, it would fall from the sky and the kids would take off like dogs to find it.
Dove hunting RULES! When they got home at 7:00, they were WILD. They had a blast and they have asked Roy several times already if they can go tomorrow.
Can't wait for Dove Hunt 2012!!

Looks like it was a beautiful day for a dove hunt....I loved seeing the pictures. This is something they'll never forget, and look forward to each year. BTW, who's their big black friend?

You can tell Roy was in HEAVEN! Sweet pics. Yes, who's black dog is that? It's a nice dog! Love labs!
I can definitely tell how excited Roy was. I guess the equivalent for me will be taking my kids to their first Clemson game!
