It was cold the night we went! They have really good hot chocolate and apple cider for sale right near the carriage rides:
Aunt Cissie and Nana happened to be in town the night we went so we all did the carriage ride together:Sunday, December 5, 2010
Christmas at the Library
Last week, the Billy Graham Library began it's annual Christmas celebration. If you live locally, go see it! It's a great thing to do with your family and it always gets me in the Christmas mood, especially with the live Christmas carolers as you walk through:
They have a live Nativity with real animals. Caroline and RoyBoy love to look at this:
For the past three years, I've taken this same exact shot of the kids watching the Nativity:

They have a story time for the kids inside the Library, right behind the cafe. Caroline loves to go to the story time, but RoyBoy just goes along to be with his sister. Roy and I were surprised how long he sat still during the story, but by the end, he was laying on his belly facing us.
Then on Saturday, the Library hosted a Teddy Bear tea for kids. Caroline goes each year with little AnnaPreston. It's a cute program where they get to have hot chocolate and yummy cookies. I have to say that I was tempted to steal some of the cookies off their plates because I was HUNGRY:

Fun time.....Making sweet memories!
Looks like fun. I hope we get to go to Christmas at the Library one of these years!
Glad you all had such a good time, and it's so nice that BGEA does that each year. Good memories and good traditions to be made. I love the pictures!
I thought I had commented on this already. Looks like your kids loved it. I tell you what...BGEA is the place to work and hang out! You've got it all there.
It was nice that Jane and Cissie could be there with you this year. I am so glad that you have this tradition each year. Your children are going to look forward to this, even when they have children.
LOVE the Christmas card too! Charlotte is adorable-- sleeping heavenly peace is right!
What a great thing to do with the family! Still want to make the trek up there one year and see it for myself...it looks so pretty!
