Have you ever heard the saying, "A sister is an instant friend"? It's so true in my family, especially with my big sister, Dolly. We were titled the "two little girls" in our family because we were the two youngest. We were always together...shared a room, wore matching clothes, were bath buddies, played Barbies together. She was my hero and I thought she was so cool. I still do! I remember when I was about three years old, I was sitting on one of the steps upstairs and I was just experimenting with words. I vividly remember this. It's so stupid but I was sitting there saying (to myself, I thought), "poo poo, tinkle. poo poo, tinkle". All of the sudden, Dolly came flying around the corner and said, "AWWW! I'm telling Mommy and Daddy that you said that!!!". I begged and pleaded with her not to tell. I don't know why I was so worried, but to me at the time, I guess I thought I'd get in some big trouble for saying these bad words. Well, Dolly held that against me for the longest time. Any time she wanted me to do something and I said no, she'd say (again, I remember this vividly!) "Okay, I'm going to go tell them that you said poo poo and tinkle!". Finally, I got wise and told her I didn't care! Dolly's always had an influence over me!!
Anyway, there is just not enough time to say how much I love her and what she means to me--what she means to all of us! She and Roy have a funny brother/sister relationship and my kids adore her! RoyBoy even learned how to say "Dolly" and "Michael" on the trip this weekend. She is just the cream of the crop!

Yes! For some reason it's posting a day early and I have NO idea why!!!! Sorry, Dolly:) I was trying to be ahead of the game and schedule the post so I wouldn't forget and Blogger won't let me schedule. Oh well. Happy Birthday:)
