When I read her email, it never left my mind and it honestly still hasn't. I have been praying for them all throughout the day. I just can't imagine all the pain and anguish that goes along with this situation. Going home and seeing his nursery and his crib. Seeing his carseat in the back of the car and his sippy cups. As I was folding Roy Austin's laundry from our vacation, I realized that she will have to see all of his tiny clothes hanging in his closet and face his changing table where he'll never get his diaper changed again. Oh, it's just so sad. Dawn and her husband are taking their two older children to Disney World this week before school begins for their son. Please pray for Dawn and Abe Myers and their family when you think about it. I can't stop.

I got this picture off of Dawn's brother's blog.

Thanks for posting about this Donna. I went to Chad's blog and read more about Dawn's little boy's condition. What a tragedy but neat to think about Dawn's mom meeting him for the first time now that he's in heaven. We'll be praying for Dawn and her family too.
DONNA! Bless their hearts. I hope that you will share this blog with your friend (http://babyleino.blogspot.com/). I know it seems silly to share a blog during a time like this but it is one I've followed from way back and their son had the exact same thing but died much earlier. They are now a year down the road in their grief which could be very helpful for your friend. I have been soooo impressed with their Biblical/Spiritual eyes through which they continue to see their pain. There's also a link to it on "my families to pray for" to the right of my blog. Their name is the Leino's and they live in Clayton (near Smithfield). I will pray for your friend and her family!
Oh my goodness. This is just horrible. I will definitely be praying for them. It's always so hard to see someone you know suffer sush a tragic loss. My heart and prayers go out to them. I will definitely be giving my children an extra hug and kiss today and thank God again for everything he has blessed me with.
Oh I will be praying for these sweet friends of yours. What a precious little boy -
This breaks my heart for Dawn. I can't even imagine. I visited Chad's blog tonight. Thanks for posting this Donna!
Donna, I wanted to check to see the photographs of your trip and welcome your home and my heart is heavy learning of your friend that has watched her son pass to eternity. I will be in prayer for the family.
I remember praying for this precious child before he was born and I'm so sad about the outcome. I don't think we can truly understand what that family is going through, but what a comfort to know that he is finally whole. I will keep them in my prayers.
Is this Dawn Jones? Does she live in Bradenton by her grandparents? Thanks for posting! SO sad!
Yes, Denise. It's her. She lives in the DC area now.
Just went to Chad's blog and read about the baby. So sweet! So touching about his mother and nephew seeing each other in heaven for the first time.
How sad!! I will be praying for them. I just could not imagine.
How truly heartbreaking. So sorry to hear this. May God comfort them as only He can.
How heartbreaking!!!! How could you deal with the loss of a child except for the grace of God. I will be praying for the family. He is precious!
So, so sad. I will definitely pray for that sweet boy's family.
