Y'all know I'm a huge fan of "The View". Although I think Barbara Walters is an extremely liberal person, I went to Target and bought her book the day it came out. I have to say, that I'm over 100 pages into it and it is a very good memoir. It's also #1 on the NY Times list. It's a definite page turner--very intriguing and sad at the same time. It's obvious she doesn't believe in God and she seems to me to be a person who is incapable of receiving love. So, if you're looking for a good read, get this!

I saw an interview with her on Ellen yesterday and she was saying that all the names in the front and back cover are all the people she's slept with. NICE!
no, no, no. They are people who she's interviewed, silly! Ellen was probably trying to make a joke. That's how rumors get started! Listen to me, I'm defending Babs!
well, I'll take your word for it if it's a good read. I guess I'll add that book to my books to read. Babs needs Jesus!
I'll admit I'm curious and wouldn't mind flipping through your copy but I might be with Star Jones that WHY must Babs make money off being proud and open of how she's brought hurt to that Senator's poor fam? I mean, he may be a shmuck but his poor family! Feel free to give me the scoop on it, though. :)
Also a huge fan of The View. I emailed Elizabeth once to tell her how glad I am that young Christian women FINALLY have someone in the media spotlight they can look up too...haven't gotten my response yet, hmmm...I thought Babs looked terribly thin on Ellen, glad you're enjoying the book, a good page turner is always fun to have on hand.
Holli! I did the same thing...TWICE! I love Elisabeth. Her voice is annoying at times, but she is a great role-model for young mothers/Repubs. Plus, we both had our children at the same time, days apart, and the same sex! I feel like we're friends or something! She didn't email me back, either. Wah.
When I think of BW being lost (unsaved) I think of the Left Behind books and how she may be one of those news reporters who finally find God during the trib.
Deep thoughts, by Denise Logan!
Okay, I am/was a fan of the View. We went to a live show in NYC when Star and Meredith were there and Elizabeth was leaving on maternity leave the next day, with the first. I love Elizabeth, have emailed her no response. I have emailed Star to tell her what I thought of her and no response. I don't get to watch it anymore because of teaching, but I feel Elizabeth is doing a great job! Meredith I love also, but unclear about where she stands. Meredith kept hugging and kissing me, I started to feel weird, but she was very nice! So that's my story!
