This will be a busy week for us. I have to finish doing a little Easter shopping...socks for the kids, new shoes for me, Easter basket stuffers (Enchanted comes out tomorrow and Caroline is getting it in her basket!). Then we leave at the crack of dawn on Wednesday morning to drop the kids off at my parent's house and then we're heading up to Charlottesville, VA for (drumroll please) THE MICHAEL BUBLE CONCERT!!!! YEA! We are meeting Dolly and Leland up there for a little double date and my sister and I are very excited. I think Roy and Leland are going to be making fun of us the whole night but I don't care. Maybe we should let them sit together while Dolly and I hold our lighters in the air and sway back and forth? We have seats on the 10th row from the stage so we'll get some good pictures. Then Roy and I are spending the night at the hotel where we spent our first night as the Roy Grahams! I actually reserved the same room! Then we'll head back to Lynchburg to spend Easter with my family. Phewww. It will be a busy week indeed, but a fun one.
Roy arrived home safely last night and we were happy to have him back. He's been bringing me a Starbucks coffee mug from each city he has lay overs in lately. We are going to start collecting them becuase they're really cool mugs! By the way, can anyone tell me why Atlanta is called "Hotlanta"? That's what my Atlanta mug says and I'm a little confused. Enlighten me, please.

What a busy week you have?! When you go to C'ville you should call mom and have lunch. Noelle lives there too! If you have time I know they'd love to see you both. Enjoy the concert!
I just posted about the concert too, check it out! I wish I had a picture of me at work today. I'm decked in green and didn't even realize it was St. Patty's day until I got to work!
Happy Paddy's day to you me darlin! No we are not wearing green yet. We are planning a trip to the beach today so I don't think we will be wearing green for that either.
Now about HOT-Lanta. I believe(someone correct me if I'm wrong) they call it that because it is so hot there in the summer. Not that it is not hot anywhere else, but it just flows--Atlanta/hotlanta. I mean you really can't say "Hotarlotte" or "Hotburg" or "Hotorest." So Hotlanta it is! Plus, it is a "hip" (HOT) plavce to live.
BTW, as far as the Lynchburg/Easter activities you made mention of, all I have to say is one be WAHHHHHHH!

I went to look at shoes at Nine West this morning with my 2 kids in tow and it was a little chaotic so I am going to have to go back out tonight by myself.

Donna, I agree with Denise, it is because it is so stinkin' hot here in the summer. And there are so many gangsta rappers that come out of the city, I think Hotlanta just flows with their rap songs!
Jealous of your concert! We tried to get tickets but I guess my typing skills weren't fast enough! He sold out too fast.

and P.S. Sarah was in green today, until at lunch she decided to wear her peanut buttered bread all over her pants! So we had to change her before we went out today.

How fun about the concert. He is coming to Dallas in May. Girls, have fun just don't get out of hand and embarrass your family. I can just see it.....we will see clips on Entertainment Tonight and there will be Donna and Dolly, bawling their eyes out right at the foot of the stage trying to grab at his pant's leg. LOLOL!!!
