This has been a pretty boring week. I have major cabin fever from being in the house way too much. We've ran a few errands here and there but this house has been lived in way too much and is trashed from our family this week! I'm hoping for a nice, breezy day this week so I can open the windows and air it out. Roy is feeling more like himself, but tomorrow he gets the packing removed from his nose, so he is not looking forward to that. Supposedly, that is one of the worst parts of this process, but the results afterwards should be great. I have a funny story about Roy but I better not tell or else he'll be really mad, but let's just say a waitress at Cracker Barrell probably thinks I'm married to a mentally challenged man (pain killers were involved) and every time I replay the situation in my head, I start shaking with laughter!
This past week has been the week that my great pregnancy has started to turn on me. I have begun the dreaded swelling, I feel HUGE, my appetite has increased at an embarrassingly high speed. I feel like my stomach is empty all the time---I'm constantly starving:( My shirts are getting too small in the stomach and I feel like my belly is always hanging out. I have resorted to Roy's shirts as my "lounge-wear" of choice. Today I went and bought an attractive pregnancy support band to help hold my belly up and I have to admit, it does work! I had to remove my wedding rings so they wouldn't get stuck, but thanks to Mama Jane, I have a back up band so people won't feel sorry for the poor, single mom with a toddler and a huge belly. Sorry to have a paragraph of pure complaning but I am definitely uncomfortable...not miserable--yet--but I may be there soon! I was hoping to avoid the miserable stage this go around, but I think it's inevitable. Poor me. Someone bring in the violins.
Caroline has regressed in potty training. It's so frustrating, but I know she'll eventually get it. Diapers and Pull-ups are so easy but I need to do better with putting her in panties and just cleaning up the messes she makes. It's a pain, though!
So, this week will include doctor's visits for Roy, me and Caroline, cleaning up this house and organizing some closets, finishing up Roy Austin's room and attending a wedding. 26 more days until we see our son...and I'm not pregnant any more!!!!

even though you feel huge and what not, you still look great!! i'm glad you came to the shower today and brought Caroline. :O) praying that tomorrow goes well for Roy and that you have a good potty training, fall-air week!
Don Don, my heart goes out to you. That feeling is all too familiar and I don't know that I'm ready for it anytime in the near future. I'm hoping my memory will fade before round 2 comes around. Hang in there. You don't have too much longer. What do those belly bands do?
It just helps hold your belly up so the baby doesn't sit on your hip bones. It makes my sciatic nerve feel SO much better. I don't know why I didn't get one sooner.
sorry you're feeling so rough! I can't imagine being pregnant AND having a potty training toddler to look after too. Only 26 more days! I'll have to look in to these band thingys..it's so great to be able to share ideas, isn't it?
I can not wait to hear the funny story about Roy. and Just 26 days! or 25 now, I guess. What a blessing, with baby #2 just around the corner.
I'm laughing at the title of this post. "Roy's Sniffer." hahaha! I totally forgot about Roy's surgery since we were at the beach but I'm glad all went well.
Oops, I just realized I left a comment on the wrong post.
To comment regarding "nothing new" just remember you've only got a few more weeks left.
Well, true confessions! I had to wear one of those belts also. I know it is no fun but they do help and it means your are almost there. You look absolutely beautiful. So, not to worry. Love ya.
I'm LOLin. I didn't know my mom had to wear one of those bands. She too is dealing w/ some sciatica right now but I don't think they make those bands for non pregos.
