"What's that, Mommy?" That is the sentence I hear literally ALL day long and it's starting to wear on my nerves just a bit. Caroline asks me this question about everything. We'll be driving down the street and her phrase will come out as she points. So, I'll be trying to drive and look in the back seat to see what she's pointing at, which I can never really tell clearly, so I have to make something up. Then we'll be reading books and she'll point at something obvious--like a duck--and say "What's that, Mommy". So I'll finally just say, "you tell me" and she'll tell me it's a duck. Cute, Caroline. Real cute. I don't know if she's doing this because she's curious or just trying to get a reaction? I'm serious though...I hear this all day long so by 6:00 or so, I'm worn out!
I think I'm just irritable lately. Everything is getting on my nerves! I think it's just the hormones because irritability is a symptom of pregnancy. For example, I'm so sick of hearing about Elvis! Everywhere you go, you see some display about him or hear him on the radio! I was in Michael's the other day and "I'm All Shook Up" was playing and then when that was over, some other Elvis classic played. Nothing like shopping for arts and crafts while listening to Elvis. I know the big anniversary of his death is this week, but still, enough already! I've never been too big on him, anyway.
(Okay, I just took Caroline to go potty and when she finished, I took a wipe out of the box and she said it! I looked at her and said "what is this?" and she answered that it was a wipe. I think it's just a phase.)
Let's see....what else is getting on my nerves lately. Ummmm.... Probably too many things to mention, and probably some I shouldn't:) Am I the only irritable one out there? What gets on your nerves?! I'm sorry to be a Debbie Downer (imagine the music going "wahhh wahhh").

Donna, I finally found my password and was able to get on to post a comment. I must admit, I love looking into the lives of all you out there....I read about each one of you, and love it! Things have really changed over the years, though. Donna, as I was reading your blog for today, I was thinking that if you had that information in your diary, and I happened to find it and read it....you'd be furious with me! The rest of you as well. It's funny....but it's GREAT...that you all are sharing your daily lives with one another....and the world, really. The world of computers has changed our whole way of living. I guess that's good because you all can share your experiences (Teecy...that word always reminds me of you), and know that each of you have some of the same problems, worries, fun times, etc. So Donna, Dolly, Teecy, Denise, Hannah, Suzanne, Amy, Mary,Kirsten, and the rest of you.....blog on. I love it!!!!
Wooohoooo! Mom! Finally! I was hoping you'd start commenting! I can't wait to see you on Friday.
Good to see you in the blog again Genius/Jenius. We've got to get that spelling down. I never know how you spell it.
Girl, what gets on my nerves???? Today, it was too many things to mention.
Danny and I have a new phrase. We used to say that we were living on delayed gratification. Now we say, "It just ain't our decade."
Lets just say that my nerves put my older two children in their bedrooms all afternoon. Seriously, from 2:00-5:00 until we left for church. Yikes!
Mrs. Reber! Good to see you in the blogging world. All you need now is a blog of your own.
Nerves, oh yes, I have nerves. Sarah is only 11weeks old, so there is only so much she can do to get on my nerves, but there are those moments.
MRS.Reber!!!! YEAHHHHHH!! I was wondering if you would join us. Well said, well said! I think you shuld do a blog of your own.
AnnaPreston doesnt really get on my nerves yet but does it count if my husband does or am I supposed to admit that?! Oops...prolly not.
Just for the record, Denise....it's Jenius. Guess it was kind of made up by Donna, as I was in the "skinny jeans" mode back then. Even though I yo yo back and forth, I guess the name, and spelling will always be mine.
