D-Day and Chick-Fil-A

I went to see my doctor today (Dr. Stein, the best OB-GYN in the world!), and we picked the date of October 26th to deliver little Roy Austin Graham, Jr! We'll be home just in time for some trick-or-treating! So, now that we know the date, we need to get going with some things! I really haven't even started preparing for this boy. The only things I've accomplished so far is to buy him an Easter outfit (which I had to persuade Roy was not feminine. You should see it! It matches Caroline's!), I bought some diapers yesterday with my $2 off coupon and a few clothes here and there.
It's funny how with your first baby, you start planning for him/her immediately. At this time during Caroline's pregnancy, the nursery was just about finished, her clothes were hung, I thought I knew everything I needed to know. This time, I keep saying "we'll do it soon"! So my goals for the next few weeks are to get Caroline potty-trained (which is going pretty well), move her into her big girl room (which we still need to paint) and get her into a bed.
Oh, andI think my daughter is seriously obsessed with Chick-fil-a. We don't even really eat there that much, either--I promise!! My doctor's office is connected to the hospital and there is a Chick-fil-a on the bottom floor. We drove into the parking garage this morning and Caroline immediately said "Chick-fil-a! Where are you?". She remembered that from our appointment in June! Is she just smart or obsessed? So, after our appointment, we took the elevator there for a special lunch:)
And congratulations to my friend, Holli (see Northern Exposure blog), who just announced her first pregnancy!!!

Chick-Fil-A is in Caroline's genes! I lost count long ago of Roy's gracious deliveries from Chick-Fil-A during his college days. I think this addiction may last a lifetime!

You're right about that. Roy is a chick-fil-a sweet tea fan:) It may just be in her genes!

The Twinsy Easter outfits are A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E! I'm so glad you got them. It'll be a PERFECT photo op with matching Easter Baskets in tow. Perhaps we should have an Easter Egg Roll on someone's lawn where ALL the kids can don their Easter apparell! I just realized that may sound oh so superficial. Don't worry. I know the real reason for the season. Hallelujah! He has risen. He has risen indeed!

Hannah! You always make me laugh with your comments! No, it would be fun to get the kids together for a photo op this coming Easter. Let's plan on it!!
