Wednesday night, Caroline officially became a first grader along with 62 other friends! This was an exciting time for her and she was giddy all day long! The graduation program was so cute---they sang several songs, recited Bible verses and performed a little Spanish for the parents:
Proud parents with kids who were ready to eat at the reception:
Grammy and Grandaddy came down for the event, too:
And Nana stopped by on her way home from a trip:
Caroline and her friend, Cole. They've been friends since they were babies! She had great teachers this year. Here is Mrs. Haan.....
...and Mrs. Hancock!
She couldn't believe that she got little roses! And she was so excited to put them in her bedroom:)
Grammy and Grandaddy took Charlotte home with them and Roy Austin still had one more day of school left on Thurday, so Caroline and I had a special day together---just the two of us. I can't remember when I have been alone with just her for a day, so we started it out with pancakes at the Original Pancake House!
Congratulationns, Sweet Caroline! First Grade, here she comes!

Yippee for Carolina!!! Kindergarten graduation is so sweet! Makes you throat all tight and shaky. Your family is so beautiful Donna. Cannot wait to see you today!
We loved being there for Caroline's special day. She's growing up so fast, and she's such a good girl. Thank you, always, for including us in the special days for your sweet children. We LOVE being grandparents!!
