Charlotte loved just being along for the ride. She enjoys a good stroller outing.
Jessica also visits the singing Bears each year at Founders Hall with her children, so we walked right over to see them, too, after seeing the gingerbread house. The kids LOVED this part:
a bear trio:
Caroline and RoyBoy stood against the fence for a good 30 minutes just watching the show.

This sweet girl loved the music and clapped along. I'm not talking about the girl in the heels, either. She was headed to the Nutcracker that was playing in the same building:)

Roy Austin was so excited the he got to skip his nap that day, but on the way to Sam's he fell asleep. He slept the entire time we were in Sam's (in a stroller) and then when we got home at 6, I just put him right to bed. He didn't get up until 6:15 this morning! I guess almost 14 hours of sleep is a sign that we had fun:)

I love, love, love this post. So glad you all had such a nice day. That last little picture of Charlotte cracks me up.....she's a sweetheart for sure. Can't wait to see you later this week!!!
Great recap Donna! Weekends like that ARE so much fun. AND, man, 14 hours in bed/sleep sounds heavenly!
Love all your Christmas updates. All three Decembers we have lived in the Queen City we have ventured uptown for the Gingerbread House viewing, bears, walking around to see all the lights and end it with dinner at Jason's Deli. The boys love it and it is so fun to have traditions.
Good post and fun weekend. Maybe next year we can join you for some of the fun festivities that go on there.
