Another Week Down

This has been another busy week for our family. I said it flew by, Roy said it went by very slowly!

1. Tuesday night, Caroline had Family Night at her school. I thought for sure she'd be shy on stage, but nope. She lit up and sang her heart out and nailed all the moves. It was so cute! Two ladies who work at the school told me the next day how much she made them smile! I have it on video but for some reason, I can't get it to upload.

2. Her class participated in Operation Christmas Child this year. I told the teachers I had a connection to that ministry and had a great person that could come in to speak! My FIL couldn't make it, so Roy came to talk to the kids about trips he's been on and share stories and pictures of the children receiving the boxes. The kids were so cute and listened very well. Their questions were sweet and afterwards they all touched the cart with the boxes on them as they prayed for the children who received them:

3. Some friends of mine were so sweet to give me and Charlotte a "Sip and See" on Thursday night. It was very intimate and small (just like I wanted it!) and so nice to catch up with old friends. Jessica came from Greenville and made another one of her yummy cakes. I brought Caroline with me and she was so excited! She especially enjoyed opening the presents:

4. This weekend, our family made our own OCC Shoeboxes. Roy and I took the kids to the dollar store and let them pick out their prizes for their boxes. They did so well picking out the things they'd think the kids would like. Neither of them asked for anything for themselves and they had so much fun making them. Roy and I laughed many times as we watched them:) We had so much stuff, we ended up having to add a 6th box:

5. We made turkey cookies on Saturday. They both loved making their own. Guess which ones are Roy Austin's? These things were GOOOOOOD!:

6. And what's a post without pictures of sweet Charlotte Girl? The other day she woke up from her morning nap crying really hard. I went in there to see that she had kicked her pants down and was showing some major crack:

She's also started to smile. It is so cute! I'll feel someone starring at me sometimes and I'll look down and see her just smiling away:) She loves when I say "ahhh gooo". This makes her smile big for some reason:

This morning was our first Sunday to go to church as a family of 5. It was not as hard as I thought it would be, but I will say that getting 3 kids ready, fed and getting myself ready is a little challenging. We won't be making it to the 8:15 service any time soon! Here is Charlotte on her first Sunday going to worship Jesus. Denise, Charlotte is loving wearing Jane-Jane's clothes!!!:

Great recap Donna!

1. Love that "sip and see" idea. Someone is always coming up with new creative idea's to celebrate things. Really cool!

2. Sweet that Roy came to Caroline's class. I know you both were proud.

3. Charlotte=REBER! Love it!

4. Thanks for putting Jane's clothes on her. It is so sweet to see her in them.

5. I went shopping today and got Charlotte a lil sum-sum for the Spring.

LOVE the last picture of Charlotte! She is SO SWEET Donna and getting so big. Can't wait to see her in a few weeks!
I bet Caroline was SO GIDDY having her daddy come and talk to her class. That's nice!
You're a good mom to make cookies with your kids. I need to start doing that with Michael but I have a feeling he's been eating all the icing and nothing else.
Oh and I loved the cake Jessica made! She's a good friend and nice that your friends had a get together for you!

Caroline looks adorable up there on stage! (I guess you wouldn't let her wear her "cool girl" leggings and long sweater that night?:)

That is a great cake that your friend made. So nice of all your friends to do that for you.

And Charlotte...she is a DOLL! She must have been really mad to get her pants down like that. Pants on the ground, pants on the ground...

Hope you've had a great Thanksgiving!

I went to a Sip & See for a friend last week. I had never heard of them before. I guess they are the new thing. I liked it much better than a shower.

ADORABLE last picture of Charlotte!! Love her hair and LOL that Cisie said she looked like Kate Gosselin.
