Every year we go to Roy's office to pass out cookies and candy. We've been doing this since Caroline's first Halloween at 6 months old:
We saw many friends including sweet Mrs. Capin, fresh from the salon getting her hair styled for the week (by the way, that peanut butter pie she is eating was SO good! The chef made some delicious desserts that day!!):
On Saturday there was a lot of excitement at our house preparing for the big night. Even Maggie put on her cosutme. As if she doesn't like me already, now Maggie Mae has a new reason to just tolerate me. She was not a happy pup:

RoyBoy really got into Halloween. He loved ringing doorbells and picking out candy:
I think handing out the candy to other kids was just as much fun for Caroline. Each time the doorbell would ring, she'd run to the door. At one time, Roy and I weren't walking fast enough to the door, so she grabbed a handful of her own candy to give a little boy!
Besides trick-or-treating almost getting rained out, we had a fun night together. But I am SO glad that Halloween is over. Last week was one sugar-filled week!! This week: Detox.

You always do such a good job planning your children's costumes--well, their clothes in general. I am already excited to see what they will be next year. I am thinking Scarlet and Rhett Butler????
I loved seeing more pictures of your kids. Their costumes were GREAT this year too. I remember when Caroline came to BGEA to "pass out candy" at 6 months old. She was so cute then and still is now. I know everyone loves watching your kids grow up there.

LOVE the pic of RA2 staring throught the window. I can totally see him going up to ring doorbells w/ that expression he gets on his face. You might have to go through doorbell ringing detox along w/ the sugar detox.
I think YOU and ROY should be Scarlet and Rhett! I think RA2 and Caroline should be Max and Ruby!!!!

Those are the cutest costumes ever!!! love it! we are candied out too. I am slowly throwing it all away...hoping they will not notice...except of course the good chocolate.

Where did you find those costumes? Too cute! You can tell those are definitely not from the costume aisle at Wal Mart.
That is sweet that you go hand out candy at BGEA. I bet all the workers just love to see you coming.
