Our Weekend

We had a sports filled weekend. On Friday night, we went to a highschool football game to see our babysitter cheer. It was her last game and I have to say that we had a fun time. It brought back so many memories of highschool days. The kids had so much fun, even though they were frozen by the time we made it back to the car.

When we got home, our sister-in-law, Kendra and her two girls were home waiting for us. They came in town for a soccer tournament that CJ was playing in. Caroline was so excited that her cousins came to visit her! Before we went to CJ's game on Saturday, we stopped by Old Navy where the girls got winter scarves for $1. Saturday was such a warm day, but Caroline insisted on wearing her scarf to the game:

Here we are cheering on CJ. She is a great player!

Caroline really enjoyed being around her big girl cousins this weekend. Can you tell?!

CJ after her game. She played hard and her team won!

We went home, got showers, grilled out and just relaxed the rest of the day. On Saturday night we watched The Polar Express and enjoyed some Hot Chocolate:

And just because, here is a random picture taken of Roy Austin last week: A little boy, comfortable in his own skin. Who cares that he's wearing a headband?!

What a fun weekend. I love the pic of RA in your headband. He cracks me up! I'm sure it was fun having Kendra and being with all the cousins. And Polar Express is my favorite!!! When I pull that movie out it makes me feel like it's officially Christmas. I'm not sure if I'm quite ready to pull it out yet though. You did it right though, drinking hot chocolate while watching it! YUMMY!
