I think it's safe to say that Harry Jack is a Reber. Check out my Daddy at around age 2:
(girls, don't say it....I did not steal this picture!! I believe I needed it for a school project in highschool and I thought it was so cute so Mom let me have it. So there.)
4. Getting my ipod set up. I spent a few hours uploading CD's and other songs to it and I have to say, it's pretty cool thing. Is it bad that the biggest playlist I have is dedicated to children's songs?!
5. Hearing the great news that John Robert (my friend, Laura's baby) is doing great and his hemangioma hasn't grown back since his surgery in March. Hopefully in a few months, he'll be given a clean bill of health.
6. This must have been a Caroline week for making me smile. The other day in the car, she was singing Nicole C. Mullen's "When I call on Je---sus. All things are possible!" at the top of her lungs and with the most sincere heart. It was precious.
7. And my RoyBoy. What can I say about him. He is going through such a stage right now. Each night I smile as I put him in his crib, say goodnight and close his door. I did, however, smile/want to cry a frustrated cry the other day when I saw him sitting in his highchair with my spanking spoon and "spanking" his hand over and over again.
Happy Friday!

Good list, Donnie. That made ME smile. I always knew that little HJ was a Dan Reber clone! I'm glad you got an IPod! Which oned did you get? The 2nd and the last might've been my favs...oh and Carol wanting to go to China w/ you. I thought how proud TaiTai and Stacey would be but then realized it meant PeiWei. She's a missionary even in her wee age. :)
What a special way to celebrate Mother's Day at school!! I love her list. :)
Cute post. I loved the stories of Caroline. And so happy to see Harry Jack in the post. He is a clone of Daddy. And Baby Jane is a clone of Harry!
Happy Friday sweetie.
I laughed when I saw that Caroline said you were 3 years old. It is so funny what kids think.
Also lauging at the Old Yeller comment. She is a funny one.
Poor RA, spanking himself. Adam went through a phase around that age where every time he would do something really bad, he would go and get the spoon and bring it to us. SAD, but very funny.
Ah, this was a sweet post. That is a GREAT picture of you and Caroline. I love your hair color! You look beautiful!
I'm laughing at the picture of Harry Jack and YES,he does look just like daddy did as a boy.
I still have the message saved on my voicemail of Caroline singing that song. It really is so sweet as she sings her heart out! It made me smile too!
Your post made both Daddy and me smile big smiles this morning. We just got back from a 4+mile walk on the beach, and now, with our short, stubby, swollen hands and fingers, we're showering and getting ready for the rest of the day. What a restful time!!
Love the pictures....all of them. Yes, little HJ is a clone of Daddy. That's how Dan Dan looked when he was younger, too. I think as the children get older, they're looking more like their parents....a good thing!
Great post. I need to get more songs uploaded to my Ipod - thanks for the inspiration.
I love the photograph of you and Caroline and all the things that brought a smile to your face this week.
Have a fabulous weekend with many more smiles on the horizon!
Those all are terrific things to smile about! Thanks for sharing. I love the questionnaires they fill out at WEE School. Jason's class of moms ranged in age from 6 to 89! Yikes! Makes you wonder what other things they are thinking about incorrectly!
Who killed her great grandmother??? That is FUNNY.
Max did the same questinnaire thing and he said my favorite things are cooking and exercising...these poor children are so confused as to who their real moms are.
I love my ipod but since I never exercise (not according to Max though) I never use it. Mine is filled with 80's music...remember songs from then, Donna? :)
FUNNY about Roy spanking his hand! I think you're going to have your hands full...you think? :)
Have a great weekend!
This is adorable!
Do you really have a pretty orange dress? If so, we need a picture!
That picture of Harry Jack is the spittin' image of your daddy!
What a great thing to do, sit back & look at the things that make us smile! its a good reminder! Jesus is so GREAT!
I'm glad to know you are 3, you look very mature for your age!
Congrats on the ipod. You are going to LOVE having one!
And Caroline is just precious - love her comments!
I had to laugh about RA "spankng" his hand with the spanking spoon. To me, this means he gets it! (or he enjoys it -take your pick!)
I LOVE the connection between Great Grandma and Old Yeller in Caroline's mind!! So funny. Doesn't re-watching Old Yeller make you think "why in the world is this a beloved CHILDREN"S movie??"
And sweet little Roy - that is actually pretty funny. Piper thinks the greatest thing in the world is to spank her siblings! She will find my spanking stick and take it to a sibling and say "No, no, no."
Loved reading that post Donna...it made me smile too! :)
