Roy Austin and Kathryn loved watching the big kids from their strollers:
On Thursday night, Dolly, Leland and baby Michael came to visit us. It was such a nice treat to have them come. Leland was a trooper to hang out at the mall and at the house with two sisters who feed off of each other:) He even played outside with Caroline...
Sweet Michael had fun sitting in the swing. He was a little too small for it and a little confused, but we think he had fun.
This boy has some beautiful eyes! They are deep blue and so clear.
Caroline loves wearing her Dorothy costume. She wore it to bed on Thursday night, the last half of the day on Friday and then to bed again on Friday night. I had to make her take it off on Saturday morning.
On Saturday morning, Roy Austin enjoyed some nice blueberries.
Caroline got her Valentine's prize from Mommy and Daddy. This is actually a fun game! 
Saturday afternoon, a mini-blogunion took place. Jennifer (who looks GREAT, by the way) had to come to Charlotte to pick up her husband from the airport on Saturday afternoon, so Dolly, Hannah, Nancy and I met up for some pizza. We all brought our kids, so it was a noisy lunch, but we had fun and it was so nice to finally meet sweet Max! He is ADORABLE! It's so nice how blogs can inspire friendships!!
Here are all the kids. Max is getting ready to be a big brother to twins! He got some practice by holding Michael. Nancy's Caroline is holding AnnaPreston and my Caroline is holding Roy Austin who is really intrigued by AnnaPreston's belly button:

Leland was sweet enough to go get take out for us on Valentine's Day night. We put the kids to bed, ate a nice meal and some cake and then I laughed myself silly watching Dolly and Leland do Wii-Fit. It was a fun weekend. Now I have two little ones with runny noses. If you were around my children this weekend, I am praying you don't get sick! Five more days until Roy comes home!!

Good recap Donna. I'm just about to blog about our weekend too. We always have a wonderful time visiting you. Thank you again for being the hostess with the mostest. You forgot to mention that you took care of Michael for us on Friday night AND that wonderful and delicious Valentine cake you made from scratch! YUMMY! I forgot to bring some home with us. Oh well! Looks like so much fun! I wished I lived closer so that I could meet some of the bloggers! Maybe we should plan a get-to-gether for this summer. I will be in Montreat in July...Lord willing. (: I would love to meet these women in person! Neat people! Love the picture of Caroline...too cute!

I loved seeing all your pictures. You've had a nice few days with your friends and family, and I'm so glad. It helps pass the time while Roy is away, too. He'll be home before you know it.
Those children are all getting sooo big. Keep taking those pictures so you can remember what they all looked like a year from now....and far beyond that.

Yes, for some odd reason Roy Austin does not like having his left shoe or sock on. Each day you can bet that at some time, he will take one or both off. It's only his left foot for some reason?
He had his cookie pop on his head that Jennifer gave him. He ended up having red icing all in his hair.

I am with Roy Austin...I take my shoes and socks off as fast as I can. Shoes make my feet hurt. When I was little my mother would put my fat, chubby feet in those black patent shoes and my feet would burn and hurt and eat those nasty little socks down in my shoes.....I hated shoes and still don't like them very much. Go Roy Boy.........Nana's boy he is!!!
