Some of you may think I'm silly for being so worried about this new law, but apparently all of the moms who were worried have to worry no longer:
"The new law requires that domestic manufacturers and importers certify that children’s products made after February 10 meet all the new safety standards and the lead ban. Sellers of used children’s products, such as thrift stores and consignment stores, are not required to certify that those products meet the new lead limits, phthalates standard or new toy standards."
Looks like we can still sell on Ebay, have yard sales and go to those wonderful consignment sales!!! Dolly, March 21st is one of the sales if you want to come by my buddy:)

Thanks for keeping us informed, Donna. I hadn't even heard anything about this. I'm glad to hear we'll be able to re-sell because I've been holding on to most everything until I'm sure we're done. That would be mighty disappointing to not be able to sell a few closets full! Love the pic up top. I've been reading; I'm just now trying to catch up to commenting.

Donna, I am glad for your sake alone that this law has been clarified. I bet the Graham home went into utter panic the last few days. Have you been able to sleep or eat??? Ha!
I wish I lived closer so I could go to the sale. I tried to bid on a Christmas smock for Olivia for 4 months on Ebay with no success. It was so frustrating. I almost called one of you smock gurus and asked to rent one of your hand-me-downs.
I don't think you're being silly....I was just as upset as you were and equally relieved to learn that our beloved sale is still on. :)
