Prima Ballerina
This morning I found a pink leotard on clearance at Target for $3. I had purchased a cute pink tutu for Caroline on Ebay a few months ago so I knew they would go perfect together! Well, let's just say that when I showed Caroline the leotard in the car after preschool, she was very excited. She put it on right when we walked in the door, took a nap in it and has been wearing it ever since. This is one of the things I love about having a girl:

There's no doubt that she's YOUR daughter, Honey. You were soooo the same way when you were a little girl. I'm so glad Caroline is enjoying the same things you enjoyed as a child. It made me smile to see her wearing her costume. Remember those "formal" dresses we found in that old house we bought in Goode? You wore those things out playing and pretending and dancing. I can still see that one aqua colored frothy dress. I think you girls even did some fashion shows with it. Isn't childhood a wonderful thing?
VERY cute! Priceless pics. Hope you had fun at the lights tonight. Love ya.
Little girls are so much fun. She is a beautiful ballerina. Have you thought about letting her take ballet next year? I have just the place for you!
adorable!
Very cute! Way to get the deal too. Hey Old Navy has cute pink Ballerina type twirlie skirts on sale for 7.95. I got one for Margaux and Jane for the childrens picture. Maybe you should get one too for Caroline. Go online and look at it and see if you likie.
so cute...She is even practicing her form in the first picture! Nicely done Caroline!
Those photographs are very sweet. I loved being a little girl myself and those photographs brought back memories from MANY years ago. Thank you for giving me a glimpse of what life is like with a little girl. My boys were rolling around the floor this a.m. prior to school...seriously!
Precious! When we were little, my cousin LOVED his cowboy boots and wanted to wear them with everything, even shorts.....and his mom let him. :O) Is that going to be the case with the tutu??
CUTE pictures. I love the first one! You need to blow that one up and frame it. Way to capture the moment. I agree with mom....I can see you as a little girl doing the same thing only wearing moms high heels too.
Ashleigh, last night she BEGGED me to let her wear the leotard under her dress. I didn't give in. This morning she begged me again to wear it under her dress. I told her no. When we got home from a party, she put it on right away! It's hilarious!!
What a sweet little girly-girl Caroline is. I love that last picture. She looks so angelic.
Eden and her friend love playing dress-up, naturally and I even have the leotards that I got garage saling this last summer, but no tutu. She would love that!
Cute!
About those cowboy boots, I have a little guy that HAD to wear them with his shorts this summer and I did. Usually I am the stiff nose about making sure the kids match and look decent when we go out, but there's also a fine line to caring too much about nothing. The tutu, perhaps, may not qualify and was a good call not to wear to Jesus' birthday, but we gave in on the cowboy boots!!!
This is priceless!! Love it!
How precious! Love the girlie stuff too! She's a doll Donna! Gracie is a little obsessed with the whole princess/ballerina deal as well.
