Say What?!

I'm not a fan of Country music at all. There are two exceptions, however, and they go by the names of "The Judds" and "Reba". The Judds and Reba McEntire were played a lot during my childhood and their music leaves me with fond memories. I saw this article online this morning and it made me a little sad. Come on, Reba!

"Although Reba McEntire fears that fellow Christians might criticize her for it, the singer says she believe she's been reincarnated. "I believe I've gone both ways -- that I have been here before as a man," the 53-year-old (in this life, anyway) tells the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. "I believe I have spent time with my son Shelby before. I believe I have spent time with other people in my life before. Who knows? Maybe I'm part Buddhist." As for reconciling her Christian faith with her belief in reincarnation, McEntire says, "I'm sorry, but this is how I live my life, this is what I believe."

DOLLY! I was wondering about you this a.m. You're still home?

That's tragic, Reba. 3 words...scales on eyes..let the scales fall!

The Judds are my #1 FAV but Wy's a little freaky deaky like that, too. That was one of my clues about The Shack...it had her reference/recommendation (whatever you call it) on the cover...right beside Smitty's (not sure how that reflects Smitty)....not to bring up Shack but just sayin....

Poor poor people. I know many celebraties start out saying they're Christians....and maybe they are....only they and God know for sure. Somehow, though, they get caught up in other things, and probably don't stay in church or the Word like they should and they just start falling into other beliefs. Satan is really working to make these famous people do things like this because celebraties are such role models. They need our prayers to stay true to God and to His truths. It's really too bad about Reba. Remember when everyone said that Britney Spears was a Christian? Again, who knows but her and God, but fame, money, etc. has made such a big change in her life. I could go on and on. I think the father of the Simpson girls has a lot to answer for. Don't know how many of his "youth group kids" he has lead astray by promoting his daughters in a sexual way and by just leaving his calling to go into the world. So many disappointments. HPS is right....let the scales fall!

Reba, Reba. She was one of my favorites too! She's searching for somethin' and thinking she was a man in a "previous life" sure ain't it!

Pathetic. I don't understand her one bit.

Reba honey, just because you have a strong jawline doesn't mean you were a man in a previous life!

Preach it, Jenius...I couldn't have said it better! Especially the part about Joe Simpson. I've wondered how you can go from being a pastor to where he is now (not to mention the diamond stud earring he now wears). But you're right again, Jenius, only God knows a person's heart.

Reba just needs to stick to singing....as well as actors need to stick to acting.

OK, I agree with the above comments, Reba's fallen off the paddy wagon, it is a shame that it happens to so called "Christian" celebrities BUT.....

WHAT IS THE STATUS OF DOLLY??? WE NEED SOME DETAILS HERE.

Donna, you oughta give us the hospital address when you get a chance so we can send flowers. Or Dolly's home address for cards and such. I'm sure most of us have her home address, but just in case. I'm so antsy for her right now. You guys drive safe...whenever that is.
