Wow! There were just too many comments on that last post. Who would've thought that us getting Fox News would start such dialogue!
I'm having trouble finding information to blog about today. We have spent the weekend at home, not doing much. Definitely nothing blog-worthy. It's one of my favorite things to do, though...spend the weekend home as a family doing nothing! Another favorite thing to do is spend time with just Roy and that's what we are getting ready to do a lot of this week. Roy loves to try to surprise me with anniversary trips. We have taken a little get-a-way for every anniversary (except for last year when I was big time pregnant). This year, he is not telling me where we are going until we get to the terminal at the airport! The only hint he is giving me is that it will be fall-like weather where we are going(30 degrees-70 degrees) and one of the days will include a selfish excursion. Hmmmm. Any guesses? I say somewhere in the New England area. Any place will be nice, though. We leave on Thursday morning for 5 days!
And here are some pictures of sweet Roy Boy in his "Little Pumpkin" onesie. He is the sweetest boy, so full of love and smiles. He also loves to get into things and is constantly doing something (ie: eating magazine pages, climbing things, taking plugs out of outlets...Jane, get ready for some action this next week!).
"Hmmmm. What else can I get in to?"
Somebody has moved beyond formula and is now, as of today, drinking whole milk! In a big boy cup, too!
He also thinks his pup, Maggie, is the funniest thing in the world (besides his sister, anyway).
And here is a video of some of his tricks. Sorry, but I told you I had nothing to blog about. I'll bore you with pictures and tricks of my children...
Have a good week!

What beautiful blue eyes! So cute!
Wow, he's on whole milk already?
He sure is a little pumpkin.
I am so confused. I thought you already went on your trip. I can't keep all your trips straight straight!
RB is SO CUTE!!! I love seeing videos of him although my favorite is when you made him cry.
By the way, I know where you are going! Of course I'm not going to tell you but you will LIKEY!!!!
RA is SO CUTE --- he just captures your heart with his sweetness!! When he was smiling, he looked like Caroline to me -- I love his pumpkin onesie.
Have FUN on your trip -- and we'll want to see pics, you know!
Oh my goodness, I can't get over how big he is. I miss him! He is such a big boy. But I think he might need some working on the tricks.
What a beautiful post, after the seriousness of all the comments on your last post. This is a breath of fresh air....and your little Roy Boy is adorable. He's growing soooo fast. We miss him and little Caroline so much. You and Roy, of course, too, but those children change daily and we really miss seeing all that they are doing. Thanks for the pictures and videos. I'll have to see the video when I go into the office, but I know it's a good one. BTW, I know where you're going, too. You'll love it. Have a wonderful time!
I think this is a great post. I love the video of your little man. The pumpkin onesie is precious and the fact that he is now using a sippy cup...amazing!
Look at the video makes me think of Liam at that age. It seems like yesterday. Okay, enough of my kids - this is supposed to be about you Donna!
Donna, have a fabulous time away to wherever the destination takes you and enjoy your time with Roy. Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back.
I am so confused too. I thought you already went on your trip and returned! I actually thought you had scheduled blog posts to appear on your blog daily while you were gone! :)
He is soooooooo cute Donna. I can't believe he'll be a year old soon. It seems like that weekend I stayed with you and Roy--RIGHT before you had RA--was just a few weeks ago. Hope you guys have a wonderful anniversary trip!!! :)
Donna, Roy called me last night so I know where you're going too...and I agree with Dolly and Jenius, you will definitely love it!
Cute, cute kiddos you got there! :) Do your kids always eat to classical music? Hmmm...something to consider for my family instead of the Tupac we usually play.
Enjoy your trip. I mailed your fall swap gift today . . . I sure hope it gets there before you leave!!!!
Jennifer! No, my kids don't dine to Classical music every time. Caroline LOVES Baby Einstein CDs, so I just happened to have one playing when I took that video clip. You're funny!
Sara, thanks for letting me know about the gift. I CANNOT WAIT TO GET IT!!!!!
Wait, Roy called JFTB to tell him where you are going???? Roy, what about me? I am ALWAYS out of the loop with EVERYTHING that happens in our family.
You are one lucky dog and what great grandparents your kids have! We don't have that freedom to leave our kids and get away. Way to go, Jenius and Jane!!!
Have a great time on your trip and remember us. Now you could consider conceiving baby #3 while you are away. We have a baby roll going in this blog circle.
Jennifer, that is funny b/c Roy called and also told ME where he was taking Donna. He was obviously so impressed with our meeting that he wanted to ask our opinion. Ha!
I thought I was the only one who knew - Roy told me on Sunday at Church!! Have fun - it's a great place!
