Then, Grammy and Grandaddy came in town for one night. Grandaddy was in town on business, so Grammy tagged along for the pleasure side of the trip. It's always a treat to have them visit . Speaking of treats, Grandaddy took us to get ice cream one night. We heart Marble Slab:
Poor little guy. He has to wait 3 more months to get his first taste of sugar. Mean Mommy!
The next night, we all went to Firebirds (my fave) before they left to go back home. Grandaddy kept asking Roy Austin why he was wearing a "sissy dress". It's a bubble, Daddy, and according to my clock, I have 9 more months for him to wear smocked goods.
The boy in the bubble decided to put on a little photo shoot for us at the table. He loves to get his picture taken and literally smiles when I get the camera out. See for yourselves:
Okay, Roy Austin. Work with me here. Give it all you got...
Now, in this one I want you to act flirty, own it. You're a silly boy and you know it...
Now, you're bashful, embarrassed.
Whoops, someone is getting jealous. Too much attention is being paid to the little brother. How big is Caroline? She's SOOO big!
Now, I promise this entire post isn't about RoyBoy. It was just a big week for him. By the way, he's doing the "SO BIG" motion as of this week, too. Wednesday morning I was on the computer (big shock) as he was crawling around downstairs. I finally came to my senses and wondered where he was. Remember when I said he loved danger? Again, Bad Mommy, BAD!
Apparently he can add climbing stairs to his bag of tricks and he thinks it's hilarious. Time for gates. Later that afternoon, he escaped my vision again and I found him halfway up the entire staircase.
On Thursday, we met some of our friends at the light-rail station and rode the train uptown to Discovery Place. Here is Caroline and two of her buddies, Cole and Caleb:

Here's the stats: He weighs 21 pounds and his head size is, once again, off the charts! I'm going to blame that stat on the Graham side (sorry, Jane!)
To end our week, we watched Kathryn and Caleb today for their mommy. I love that these kids are all the same ages and they'll grow up together! They had a great time, as always.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend. It will be pretty quiet around here but the next two weeks will be busy ones for us!

Big head.....It must be all those brains!!!! Graham side, not Cunningahm. Loved all the pictures and it makes me miss them more.
Love you all
Oops, I can't spell my maiden name! Cunningham.....that is!
At least you have one person in your family who enjoys when you whip out the camera!
He is a d.o.l.l. Doll, with a capital D!
I LOVED the photo session with Roy boy and all your captions. I was laughing all the way through them. RA is a doll! Watch out ladies. Those blue eyes will get them every time.
Love your blogs.....love your blogs.....LOVE YOUR BLOGS!!!!!
Wow--Roy Austin is talented, a perfect model! I wish Kate would smile like that when I take her picture. :o)
Is Roy Austin trained or what? He poses like a little model!
We had the big head issues here too - and it is from David's side of the family! Their heads are huge.
Have a good weekend!
Cute pics!! RA is a ham!
I'm LOL about your dad and the sissy dress!! That is so funny. Your Roy sure is accomodating because Don never allowed me to dress Max in bubbles...and you know as a good wife I always obey my husband. But, I tell you one thing, that Roy Boy could be wearing a potato sack and still look adorable!!!
Marble Slab is my fave too...that's where I get my cheesecake/cookie dough combo that got me through pregnancy!
Did I hear you mention you were going to the beach?
Oh, I didn't know Caroline hurt her arm!! Poor Carol! Looking good, even with the princess wrap. RA is the cutest boy ever. If I could only get Sarah to pose for her pictures that well. and Discovery place looked fun too!
I STILL wanna ride the LR!!!! BUT REWIND...what happened to Carol's arm?!?!?!? I'll keep reading.
