It's Called A Sippy Cup, Katie.

I'm all for keeping kids kids as long as you can, but babies can only be babies for so long. Case in point: Suri Cruise.

Come on! The girl is 2 and a half years old. Enough, already! Doesn't the APA recommend taking the bah-bah away at the one year mark?! I hope I don't offend anyone with this post, but it really bugs me each time I open a People magazine or get my daily email from People and see--once again--little Suri holding a bottle. She's much too old for them...it's past the time to introduce the big girl cup. Maybe it's for publicity?

Oh I completely agree! Two 1/2 is way to old for a bottle.

Do you think this is some scientology thing Tom is making Kate enforce with Suri?

i totally agree with you. and please tell me that i'm not gonna have to start "rolling" my jeans up like that again!!!!

I know! I keep seeing these pictures of Suri with a bottle and I couldn't figure out why. Very strange

I agree with the bottle thing too but like Sassy, I got a little distracted with the rolled up jeans. YIKES!

I am so glad that I am not the only one who that really irritates! For all of us who have fought the "one year give up the bottle" fight, it's just not right! Maybe someone should tell her nanny...

I noticed that in a magazine the other day. It's not that hard to take a way the bottle and do the sippy cup. By the way, I wear my jeans like that all the time...

Yes, please tell me I'm not going to start feeling pressure to "peg" my jeans...like I need my hips to stand out even more.

Yes, the bottle thing is ridiculous. And, she's carrying it around with lukewarm milk in it...it probably has curdles in it - nasty.

Donna, this is why I like your blog! You always write about things that I've thought before but then forget about them until I see them on your blog - like Suri and doctors/nurses always calling you mom.

Oh dear I don't remember when I took the bottle away but I don't think I made a big deal about it. We didn't have all these nice sippy cups back then. They leaked all over everything and there was nothing sippy about them. They just had a top on them and a pretty good slit to drink out of but at least they kept it from a big spill. Tell Caroline and
Roy Austin I love them and miss them. Miss you and Roy too...

I was going to ask you about the rolled jeans style. Its the new thing these days!

Okay, I just saw another picture of her that was taken yesterday and she had the same pair of jeans on AGAIN. I'm not her stalker, but I've seen pictures of her (on different days/in different tops) in those jeans almost every day the past week (remember I'm a People.com addict). Anyway, I'm all for recycling clothes, but I wonder why she's wearing them almost every single day? She must be trying really hard to set a new trend...or, like Nancy said, it's a Scientology thing.

what's with katie's jeans? seriously? this is bad. if we can't look to celebrities for fashion tips, who can we look to?

the jeans...it looks like they're going back to the "fold over and roll-up". I don't care how in style that becomes, I will NEVER do that again!

Also, the bottle is going to give her orthodontic issues too! :)

yet another EXACT topic of convo this past weekend at the beach. That was sweet of Kates to send some recent pics to you! I think we were on the phone together when the swing pic was taken. :)
