After three trips to three different Harris Teeter, I'm done---for today anyways.

My first trip I saved $60 exactly. This is what $16.36 will get you: basically brownie mix, Cheerios, baby food, bread, Shout, Bam, BBQ Sauce, Hefty foil pans, Body wash, Baby Shampoo and lotion, Rice, Paper Towels, Madarin oranges, Tea, Pretzels, Shaving Cream....The best deal so far is the Huggies Baby wash. It was on sale for $1.99 and if you use ANY Huggies coupon, it will work. I had a bunch of $2.00 coups so yeah. It was FREE! The rice was also free along with the Cheerios and BBQ sauce.
Here are my Harris Teeter Troopers on their second trip in one day. Yes, kids, your mom is crazy.
On my second trip, I spent $38.57 and saved $63.50. I spent a little more than I wanted, but look at what I got:
TONS of baby food, Snuggle, Toilet Paper, Shout, Bam, Fruit snacks, Cereal, Ziplocs, Rice, Toothpaste, Cascade, Bisquick, Baby Puffs, Marinades. The best part, all the cereal you see was F-R-E-E! Roy LOVES Golden Grahams, so he will be a happy camper when he returns from Ethiopia:)
On our third trip to Harris Teeter, Caroline wanted to be like Mommy and push her own cart. I think she's a little tired of this triple stuff.
The third trip set me back $38.89, but again I saved $69.45. Here's what I got on that trip:
a LARGE box of trash bags, more ziplocs, more FREE cereal, more toilet paper, more Huggie Baby wash and lotions, FREE baby food, AAA Batteries, Frozen veggies, Lemonade, Creamer, Milk, Yogurt, Bacon.
I have one more small trip to make tomorrow and I'll be set. All in all, I spent $93.82 and I saved $192.95!!!!
I'm proud of myself, but then I read results like this and this and I'm thinking "huh?! How in the world?" Clip those coupons, girls. It's SO worth it.

Good post Donna! You are so funny. I am glad you are on a high.
So sorry about your friend of the family, and his death. So sad. We are so blessed. I pray for God's blessing of safety and health so often during the day (and night when I cannot sleep)for our whole family. We are blessed! Love you!
Donna, you racked up!!! Way to go with the triples! I still have a rush from this morning's savings. :)
Good job Donna! And good post! Isn't it so much fun?
Great savings! I love that Roy likes Golden Grahams. :o)
LOL that you drug your kids on THREE trips to the Teeter in one day. You are one brave and determined mama! I mean...you have two more days of triples, Donnie. Oh the memories they'll share w/ their peeps. Your research paid off. Good work, P31, Goooood work! Phew, this post makes me need a nap. :)
That was a GREAT post. I loved how you took pictures each trip of the products and the kids at the store!!! One day they'll thank you for instilling those qualities in them.
I only made 1 trip to HT but I racked up. This was after I went to a kids consignment sale for 4 hours so I was pretty much shopped out. Way to go on your deals =)
Donna, I'm sooo proud of you. I know how you worked while you were here....clipping coupons and figuring out what you were going to buy. Then those three trips to HT...saving so much money...and then displaying three loads of purchases on your table for all to see. I know it was a lot or work, but wasn't it fun?! You're something else! Sounds like a lot of your blogging friends do the same thing, too. Good for all of you!!! Keep it up!!Great blog.....great pictures!!!
Okay...I saw your numbers and was shocked and then I saw the other girls numbers and I'm dumbfounded...how in the HECK???? I need a lesson in using coupons. haha
How on earth did you get free cereal? That is AMAZING! Your totals shocked me! And, you won't need to buy a lot of that stuff for a long time.
Golden "Grahms"? If they were called Golden Flakes, I wonder if he'd still like them! My favorite cereal is Lucky Richardson's. Ha!
Good job and good post. Way to go Donna. Wayyyyyy to go!
I am seriously amazed that you paid under $100 for all that food! I've heard of people doing this but I haven't figured it out. Why don't you hold a coupon seminar in Charlotte? A good excuse to get blog friends together. :) But seriously, I'm going to start studying up on this coupon thing...you have no idea how happy my husband would be if I had done what you just did. I actually think it would turn him on! :)
OK --I'm with Christy --this blows my mind! I think we need a Coupon 101 class - I missed something along the way. AWESOME job, Donna!
I'm so jealous! I'm a coupon girl myself, but no one around here triples them! I remember when Kroger used to have triple coupon days and they also used to have super double coupon days, where they would double your coupons up to $1.00! So if you had a $1.00 off coupon, you would save $2.00!
