Just the 16 of us

Yesterday was such a special day. We went back to Montreat to spend the day with Roy's immediate family. It was the first time that we were all together--every single one of us--in a long, long time. We met for lunch, spent some time visiting and then had a family photo shoot at Daddy Bill's house. The Graham boys act like they hate when we do these shoots but I think they secretly like it. At one point, Will even gave us an idea for a pose! Thanks for being a team player, Will. Anyway, it was a busy day but we had a great time together:

I think it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a good picture of any group of kids together. One of the goals of our day was to get a cute grandchildren photo. Well, we either had one child crying, one not smiling, or one looking away. Here's to wishful thinking!

See, now in this picture, Rachel (middle girl) had it with our clever idea and she was slowly backing up. Caroline was trying to hold down the fort by gently placing her hands on her brother who would not look at us!! Focus, kids. Focus.

Caroline with her great-great-aunt Rosa. This is the sweetest lady!

Our family with Aunt Rosa.Three wild and crazy brothers. The Graham men. They're a tough bunch. These two kids started it all. And they got married in this same yard. Where does the time go?!Again, good idea but the result? Organized chaos.

So we took a little break. Corey, stop trying to kiss Cissie...again!

These two cousins had fun playing yesterday. Caroline thinks Rachel is so cool.

Okay, let's give it one more try.

Daddy Bill came outside to visit. Here he is meeting Hannah for the first time.

"How's that team treating you, son?"

Our turn! Something tells me Daddy Bill is getting a little tired of this photo shoot.

But he keeps on smiling. This is the last family shot, Daddy Bill. I promise.

Someone loves her Gramps.

Ending the day at "The Blue Cone". No trip to Montreat would be the same without it!

And that's a wrap, Graham family!

Wonderful pictures, Donna ---you are to be commended for taking the iniative and time to capture the moments while you can ---it's always a hassle, it seems, while it's happening, but look at the results! EVERYONE loves them when they're done! Your children are adorable....so sweet with Caroline and her gramps ---and BG does look great. Glad you had a great time w/ the whole family.
